The Scottoiler journey began with the inventor of the Scottoiler—Fraser Scott. Frustrated that his chain and sprockets were wearing out and required almost constant maintenance, he developed an automatic lubrication system activated by engine vacuum. After years of refinement, the first Scottoiler was finally launched in 1984.

Forty years after its introduction, the same vacuum-powered chain luber is still in production, alongside a range of other innovative chain luber solutions. In its 40th year, the Special Edition 40th Anniversary vSystem is being introduced to celebrate everything that came before and led to today’s success.

The 40th Anniversary Special Edition vSystem is inspired by the colors of the original Scottoiler RMVs and is available in a limited-edition colorway, limited to 500 units.
