Review: Very nice jacket with high quality construction. I really like this jacket. It fits me extremely well. I am 58,5” tall and weigh 172 lbs and the size 52 gives me just enough room to add layers when it is cold. It has huge vents in the front and back that flow lots of air, which is really important to me as I live in Southern California and it can get very hot here in the summer. I also really appreciate the liner, which, unlike most liners, can be worn as a normal jacket when off the bike. I also really like the look of the jacket. Don’t know how waterproof it is yet as I have not ridden with it in the rain. This is not a critical issue for me, as I don’t do a lot of rain riding after almost 65 years of riding. If I get caught in the rain, I’ll put on my light Dainese rain shell, anyway. The only real improvement that I would like to see is the addition of two upper interior pockets for cell phone and wallet. But, it is not a deal breaker for me. The supplied armor is very soft and unobtrusive, which I really appreciate. However, back armor is not supplied with the jacket. I purchased a medium d30 ghost armor pad that fits perfectly. With my electric vest and appropriate layering, I feel that this a versatile, true 3 season jacket that will put a smile on your face every time that you wear it. Review: Best Schuberth ever. This is a super well fitting and comfortable helmet. I have had some sizing issues with other Schuberth helmets C4pro, E1 and E2. The helmet feels light but manages to avoid the plastic feeling of some modular helmets. The chin bar closes with a secure click and the visor is clear and doesn\'t fog.The drop down sunshade is not super dark just enough to cut the glare but not enough to make you nervous in shaded corners which I prefer. Review: SC2 voice commands Overall I would rate the comm system SC2 as a quite useful device, nicely streamlined with the helmet C5, great abilities for connection to different devices, a bit complicated to operate only using the remote control but cell app is making up for that. What I do find very frustrating though, is the struggle to activate voice commands. I don\'t know if it is only my device, that is unable to activate using the voice commands, or everyone has the same issues. I have reseted the system, updated firmware, reseted again, more people tried to speak to activate Sena, not just me, but non of that helped with the issue. I have contacted Schuberth manufacturer but got the same message , not really helping. The voice activation simply sucks, and is causing me quite a disappointment. Review: Sehr Gut Bequem zum Fahren und zu laufen, wenn man auf dem Motorrad aussteigt. Das BOA Schnürsystem ist genial. An und ausziehen geht schnell und leicht wegen des BOA Schnürsystems. Man kann die Schuhe schnell mit Motorradhandschuhen ausziehen, Regenhosen leicht und schnell anziehen, Schuhe wieder an- und weiterfahren, ohne die Regenhose von innen zu verdrecken oder kaputt machen. Wasserdicht 100%. Ich besitze die Schuhe seit 2 Jahren und ich habe oft in 10 Stunden Regenfahrten probiert. Warm in der Kälte mit gute Socken, aber auch angenehm im Sommer wegen guter Membran, die für die guten Atem des Fußes geeignet ist. Rutschfeste und robuste Sohle. Review: Fit is great, but with a bad chemical smell The price/performance ratio of this jacket is very good. It fits like a normal piece of clothing, not too small or too big and it is not too heavy either. However, I am deducting two stars from the rating and that has to do with the impregnation of the jacket and its inner layer. The jacket itself and the rain/wind layer stink to high heaven and have a chemically pungent smell. We thought it was because the jackets were stored in the shop warehouse, but a cleaning company that we took the jacket to after two days confirmed that it was a chemical impregnation and that was responsible for the almost unbearable pungent smell. Review: Yes but no! It is somehow a good pair of gloves with good protection. It is also comfortable if you manage to get your hands in it which brings me to the cons side very quickly. Firstly, this is not my first pair of gloves from IXS and it seems they cannot get their finger sizing/proportions right whatever they do. Thumb or index finger is always way bigger than it should be on every single pair of gloves of theirs. And the most annoying con of this is its lining. They did not fix the lining to the fingers at all, so every time you take them off you need to be extra extra careful (biting the finger tips one by one and pulling out slowly just not to disturb the lining), or the lining will come off. What is worse is the lining of the fingers will fold in itself, and will make it almost impossible to wear it back. Review: Great Vest I live in Australia and where I live it gets really hot in summer. I was riding in 30c temp today and I would compare the vest to be similar to wearing body armour. I own a Tech air 5 and Tech air race vest and out of those 2 the race vest is cooler but the Furygan tops both for coolness and comfort. As for sizing I purchased the vest online in a Medium just like the Alpine star but after the purchase I found out that French sizing is a bit smaller than other companies so I was a bit worried that it might be to small when it arrived but it was a spot on fits like a glove.
