KPA outer shell
KPA (Kinetic Polymer Alloy) is a blend of polycarbonate, space-age thermoplastics and other materials specially developed by LS2 that is ultra-lightweight and highly impact resistant, but also offers a degree of flexibility for ultimate energy dispersion.
Visor
LS2 visors are made from optically correct grade ‘A’ 3D polycarbonate, a modern polymer with high impact resistance that prevents distortion and provides maximum clarity.
Coolmax
Coolmax is a highly functional moisture management material used in motorcycle helmets for the inner lining. It has been specially developed to efficiently wick away sweat and ensure a comfortable wearing climate.
Coolmax is primarily used in premium motorcycle helmets to optimise cooling, comfort and freshness – ideal for warm temperatures or sweaty riding conditions.
Hypoallergenic
The manufacturer uses anti-allergenic technical fabrics that absorb moisture, ensuring a pleasant coolness while riding.
Emergency release system
The emergency release system allows first responders to remove the cheek pads from the helmet so that the helmet can be removed from the head and neck of an injured rider with minimal movement. Ideally, a second person should hold the helmet in place while the pads are being removed to prevent it from moving. Slide your finger through the red loop and pull gently to remove the pads. Pull the cheek pads over the straps and out of the helmet.
Channelled EPS
Channelled EPS refers to a special construction of the EPS foam layer (expanded polystyrene) in motorcycle helmets, which provides better protection and comfort. EPS is a lightweight, shock-absorbing material that efficiently distributes and reduces energy in the event of an impact.
Features of channelled EPS
- Integrated air channels: Strategically placed recesses in the EPS foam improve air circulation in the helmet.
- Optimised ventilation: The channels distribute the incoming air evenly and provide pleasant cooling.
- Increased comfort: Reduces heat build-up and improves wearing comfort without compromising safety.
- Unchanged protection: Impact absorption is fully maintained as ventilation and safety are combined.
Note
Please be aware, as long as nothing else is written in the item description:- All helmets will be delivered only with the ECE certification by default, even if it is shown differently.
- All helmets that have a visor will be delivered with a clear visor, even if it is shown differently.
