Carbon X-Series features: Far more than just simple padding. The inner liner is equipped with activated carbon filaments that naturally regulate temperature, control static electricity, and promote breathability. Fully adjustable and anatomically shaped, it creates a custom fit that completely eliminates pressure points on long rides.

224° x 90° Panoramic Field of View: True active safety through visibility. The large visor opening offers an expanded panoramic field of view, allowing you to take in the instruments at a glance and monitor obstacles in your peripheral vision without unnecessary head movements.

Seamless N-Com Integration (Sena): Connected and safe on the road. The helmet is fully homologated according to the strict ECE 22.06 standard and is equipped with a special internal mount for N-Com communication systems. Multi-density EPS

The multi-density EPS is designed to absorb impact energy under various conditions—including varying temperatures, speeds, and impact surfaces.

Nolan uses several dedicated EPS inner shells across the entire size range. This allows the helmet to conform more precisely to the rider’s head, improving both comfort and protection.

The result is a structure that manages energy more evenly and allows the helmet to conform more naturally and snugly to the head.

Ultra-Wide Shield

The Ultra-Wide shield offers an expanded field of view for greater visibility and a more open riding experience.

Made from high-quality polycarbonate, Nolan shields are manufactured in-house to ensure consistently high optical clarity and durability.

Pinlock® Anti-Fog Inner Shield

Included depending on the model. Thanks to the patented adjustment system, the tension of the Pinlock® inner shield can be adjusted from the outside of the shield without having to remove it. The Full Silicone Border (FSB) not only enlarges the air chamber between the helmet’s exterior and interior—further reducing the risk of fogging—but also minimizes the risk of scratches on the shield.

VPS Vision Protection System

The integrated VPS sunshield offers adjustable sun protection with 4 or 5 positions and UV protection up to 400 nm. It is made of pre-tinted polycarbonate and ensures long-lasting color fastness and durability, complemented by anti-fog and scratch-resistant treatments. Some models feature Nolan’s patented automatic retraction system for quick retraction.

X-Series Lining

The X-Series lining was developed for performance-oriented riding and combines a breathable polyamide fabric with integrated carbon fibers for advanced thermoregulation, moisture management, and antistatic control.

The selected materials are sourced and developed in Italy and reflect Nolan’s focus on durability and precision at every level. The anatomically shaped cheek pads and the customizable padding of the upper inner shell work together with the LAF system to perfect the fit, distribute pressure evenly, and keep the helmet stable during dynamic riding.

One-Piece Cheek Pads

The foam inner padding of the cheek pads is designed to provide more even pressure and consistent performance over time compared to conventional pads. The padding can also be removed from the fabric covers to facilitate washing.

NERS – Nolan Emergency Release System

NERS allows trained emergency responders to remove the cheek pads before removing the helmet.

This helps reduce movement of the rider’s head and neck in critical situations.

Molded Recess for Cheek Pads in the Polystyrene

The helmet features a molded recess for the inner cheek pads in the polystyrene, which allows for a more precise fit of the fabric inner cheek pads. This fairing, which gives the product a high-quality finish, also serves as a mount for the earpieces of the N-Com communication system.

Eyewear Adaptive System

The Eyewear Adaptive System was developed to create space inside the helmet for eyeglasses.
It improves comfort for riders who wear eyeglasses by reducing pressure in the temple area.

Air Booster Technology

AirBooster Technology is Nolan’s ventilation system featuring integrated channels in the EPS inner shell that direct airflow through the helmet.

Fresh air is channeled from the front and top air intakes to the rear air outlets, enabling targeted ventilation and efficient cooling.

Prepared for the N-COM Communication System

N-Com is developed in conjunction with Nolan helmets and is not simply subjected to retrofitting.
Helmets prepared for N-Com are tested and certified with the communication system installed, which helps maintain comfort, aerodynamics, and compliance with standards.

ESS/I–ESS Visibility Systems

Nolan’s ESS and I-ESS systems are designed to improve the rider’s visibility, especially when braking and in low-light conditions.

ESS is an add-on system within the N-Com product line, while I-ESS integrates LED lighting directly into certain versions of the X-904. Both solutions help make the rider more visible to other road users.

Preparation for I-ESS Integrated LED

Integrated LED lights in the helmet’s front and rear air intakes significantly improve your visibility at night and in low-light conditions. For added safety, the rear LED also serves as a brake light to warn other road users.

Brake Mode

The integrated accelerometer activates a flashing light when you brake; the LEDs flash for a few seconds. Braking mode complements the position light mode or the interval mode.

Position Light Mode

A steady light to improve your visibility in traffic in front of, behind, and to the sides of you.

Interval Mode

In fog or when visibility is limited, the intermittent flashing helps you be more visible to other road users.

Automatic On/Off Function

If the helmet remains motionless for more than 60 seconds, the system enters “deep sleep mode.” As soon as movement is detected, the system turns on completely. If the system remains in “deep sleep mode” for more than 3 days, it turns off completely. To turn it back on, you must press the function button.
