Shell

Handcrafted composite shell, hand-applied design and precise manufacturing techniques.

Medium oval fit

The most common helmet fit, the Intermediate Oval, is slightly shorter from front to back and slightly wider from side to side.

Icon Optics™ Shield

Made in a 3D molding process for optical clarity and antifog coating.

Icon Trackshield™

Icon Optics™ Tracshield™ fits the Airframe Pro, Airform and Airmada helmets. The Tracshield includes posts for attaching removable dust deflectors (sold separately).

Venting

9 air intakes and 7 exhaust ports coupled with deep channeling in the interior energy absorbing EPS foam results in superior helmet venting.

Weight

Precision assembly techniques help to dramatically reduce the shell profile and allow it to craft a helmet that is exceptionally light.

Hydradry™ lining

The removable, sweat-wicking Hydradry™ lining ensures a comfortable and contoured fit. Air from the ventilation openings is channeled between the comfort liner and the protective, energy-absorbing EPS foam liner to create a near-perfect, rider-oriented interior.

The airflow works with the Hydradry™ lining to effectively reduce heat build-up. Combined with the excellent ventilation and removable breath deflector, this creates a near-perfect, rider-focused shell.

Double-D closure Due to its simplicity, reliability and safety, the double-D fastener is the fastener used and prescribed in racing. The double-D fastener enables simple and precise adjustment of the chin strap length and holds reliably.

Worldwide standard

Meets DOT FMVSS 218 (US), ECE 22.06 (EUROPE) & PSC (JAPAN) helmet safety standards. Does not come with PSC or MFJ standard decals unless purchased from an authorized dealer in that country.

ECE 22.06 certified

This helmet is certified and approved according to ECE 22.06. ECE 22.06 is the most widely used and prescribed international helmet standard and applies in more than 50 countries.
