OUTER SHELL in tricarboco material, mix of Kevlar, carbon and fibre, joint through resin and made by hand using new technologies, which foresee aramidic resins. Shell in 2 different sizes: XS-M and L-XXL
INTERNAL POLYSTYRENE protective lining, available in two sizes (M and L). The special shape and construction in different density increases mechanical resistance in the event of accidental shock. Inner channels studied in the wind tunnel guarantee a perfect ventilation.
The SHIELD is thermoformed from a polycarbonate flat sheet. Each shield is a one-of-a-kind piece with unequalled optical features and mechanical resistance. Thanks to this process, the face shield is anti scratch and anti fog and there is no need to use additional lenses on the visor.

Größenangeben sind immer etwas individuell aufzufassen: Bei SUOMY trage ich \'L\', bei ARAI trage ich \'M\'. Der Somy wiegt 1440g - trotz der angegebenen 1250g. Jedoch: Im Vergleichsfeld der sog. \'Hybridhelme\' ist er damit trotzdem ein echtes Federgewicht :-) Der Tragekomfort ist sehr gut, die Belüftung wirklich großartig, und das ohne Zugluft. Er hat m.E. alles was man von einem solchen Helm erwartet. Und er ist zumindest bis 140 km/h (schneller habe ich nicht getestet) weder zu laut noch steht das Schild zu sehr \'im Wind\'. Etwas mehr Beschattung der Augen bei greller und insbesondere flach stehender Sonne hatte ich von eben diesem Schild erwartet - es wurde aber offensichtlich im darzustellenden Kompromis zwischen \'Geräusch/Luftwiderstand/Beschattung\' auch erfolgreich viel Wert auf die ersteren Kriterien gelegt. Die Bedienung der \'Pilotenbrille\' ist gut gelöst. Ebenso wie die des Visirs. Mein Fazit: Ein wertiger, relativ leichter Helm aus europäischer Fertigung für S …
