IXS Space-ST-Plus, textile pants waterproof

IXS has developed a new generation of X-Stretch fabric for motorbike trousers, which creates a completely new wearing sensation. Thanks to the elasticated X-Stretch material, the trousers offer maximum mobility when getting on or off the motorbike, ensuring a very high level of comfort and an optimum fit.

The X-Stretch fabric is laminated with the elastic solto-TEX-PLUS membrane on the back to make it waterproof. This laminate cannot absorb water, does not become clammy, and remains just as light as before.

2-layer-laminate

The outer fabric and membrane or outer fabric, membrane and lining are firmly bonded together, and the seams are welded watertight. The advantage of the laminate solution is the better protection of the membrane against damage, the disadvantage is the complex and therefore relatively expensive processing.
