Tech-Air® Airbag-System

Designed for easy use in everyday motorcycle life, the Avertum Street Tech-Air® Ladies airbag system is developed and certified so that it can be pulled over your jacket in no time at all—although it can of course also be worn under your clothing. The over-the-jacket design makes choosing the right size easy: an airbag in size S fits over a jacket in size S, an airbag in size M fits over a jacket in size M, and so on.

And to make life even easier – and safer – Revit has integrated the option of inserting a SEESOFT or SEESOFT AIR back protector. This gives you additional passive central back protection that perfectly complements the active protection provided by the Avertum Street Tech-Air® airbag.

How it works

The Avertum Street Tech-Air® airbag system features 6 integrated sensors (3 accelerometers (1 triaxial accelerometer) and 3 gyroscopes (1 triaxial gyroscope)) to ensure the best accident monitoring performance in a variety of dynamic riding situations and even when stationary. The accident detection algorithm has been developed and refined based on millions of kilometers of driving and thousands of accidents, enabling the system to accurately assess when the airbag needs to be deployed before an impact or other dangerous situation, such as a side collision or highside. When the system detects an impending accident, it inflates the protective airbag within 50 milliseconds.

Fully autonomous

The Avertum Street Tech-Air® is a fully autonomous active airbag system and does not require any external connections or sensors on the motorcycle to operate. And when the airbag is not in use, its foldable design makes it easy to store in a backpack or under the motorcycle seat.

Over and under your gear

Whether the sun is shining or it's raining, the Avertum Street Tech-Air® is equipped for both. With a waterproof frame and waterproof ECU and electronics, the slim, continuous system of the Avertum Street Tech-Air® can be worn over your protective gear. If you want to wear it under a leather or textile jacket, provided the jacket offers enough space to inflate the airbag, this is of course also possible. The Avertum Street Tech-Air® airbag system allows motorcyclists to enjoy their daily commute even more, as they can rely on comprehensive protection.

Certified protection

Under European law, the CE mark is a conformity requirement for the marketing of this product. The following standards apply to this product: The Avertum Street Tech-Air® full chest and full back protector from the airbag is CE certified in its inflated state in accordance with (EU) 2016/425 EEC Regulation on Category II Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), in accordance with the relevant part of the airbag certification standard EN 1621-4:2013, which guarantees impact protection performance for at least five seconds after activation. The impact absorption corresponds to level 2 for both the entire chest and the entire back. Protective clothing with impact protection EN 17092-6:2020 Class C (outerwear), with an outer shell made of water-repellent material.

PWR|Shell Ripstop Stretch

Due to its special ripstop weave, durability and abrasion resistance are among the special characteristics of PWR|Shell. Thick threads woven in at regular intervals in a cross pattern as reinforcements prevent the fabric from tearing further.

Slim Fit

Slim Fit accentuates the natural body shape and ensures a slim and elegant look. It is characterized by a tighter and narrower cut that highlights certain parts of the body. Despite the slimmer profile, Slim Fit still offers plenty of comfort and freedom of movement where needed.
