Macna Paradime, textile jacket waterproof
Article No.: 11088716
A parka-styled jacket with a great price-quality ratio, designed for city riders in mild/rainy to hot riding conditions.
The Paradime is fitted with a fixed Raintex ML membrane that’s comfortable on the skin and a detachable thermal liner. Macna's own Easy Cuff is present at the wrists. This small zip (instead of loops and snaps) connects the inner layers of your jacket and prevents loose, floating layers.
On the inside, Macna fitted their Electric Power Guide. This EPG is a system of loops that lets you comfortably run cables through your sleeves to power your gloves when connected directly to the battery of your motorcycle.
The Quick Access Puller enables your inner pocket to be opened with lightspeed and the new Quixnap lets you close your jacket with nothing more than two fingers. Other differentiators are the Detachable Hood, Hoodie Holder and Padded Collar.
Macna's RISC Level 1 impact protectors are present at the shoulders and elbows. A RISC back protector is separately available and can easily be placed in the designated compartment. Be sure to check the size table before purchasing a back protector.

Sturdix
Twill fabric made of cotton/polyester blended yarns. Blended yarns are stronger as polyester adds strength and durability and cotton is soft and comfortable.
Raintex ML
The latest addition to Macna’s waterproof membrane collection is Raintex ML, which prevents rainwater from penetrating whilst enabling vapor drops to make their way through. These membranes keep you free from both sweat and rainwater, and are more comfortable than a regular Raintex membrane.
ML stands for ‘mesh laminated’, which means the waterproof membrane is laminated directly against a layer of fine mesh fabric. This fabric is comfortable on the skin as it doesn’t get sticky when riding with a t-shirt underneath, opposed to traditional membrane variants.
These membranes are incorporated into Macna’s waterproof garments in different ways. Some feature a fixed membrane and others are fitted with a detachable one. There are also jackets with a waterproof liner, which means the waterproof membrane and thermal liner are combined to create a single layer.
Detachable Hood
The benefit of a casual jacket with a hood reveals itself in rainy conditions when you’re off-bike. When making a stop downtown, it’s nice not to drown during the short walk from your bike to your destination.
But what about hot conditions? Aside from a sudden summer storm, chances are your hood is tagging along for no apparent reason. If you think you’re not going to need it, if you’re not in the mood for the look, or if you’re simply tired of that thing flapping around in your neck; zip it off completely and store it wherever you like.
Hoodie Holder™
If you’re a rider that prefers casually styled riding gear, you might be familiar with your hood catching wind. Being slowed down is annoying enough as it is, not to mention your hood flapping around like a madman.
Prevent your hood from turning into a parachute by using the Hoodie Holder™. Slide the button at the tip of the hood into the Hoodie Holder™ and enjoy a flap-free ride whilst the hood is kept in place.
Quixnap™
Snaps, studs, buttons; they’re present in motorcycle garments in all kinds of shapes, sizes, and colours. Even though there are countless differences between all of them, there’s one thing they have in common: you need two hands to close them.
Quixnap™ is the latest and most user-friendly snap on the market. It is easy to use for anybody with a minimum of two fingers, which may even be located on the same hand. That’s all there is to it!
Easy Cuff™
Loops and snaps that are supposed to neatly connect the separate layers of a jacket or pants. We all know how well that works; it doesn’t. Chances of your watch or foot getting stuck are ten times higher than of you actually putting on the garment without issues.
Make this issue a complaint of the past with Macna’s Easy Cuff™, a zip construction at the cuff that keeps the layers fixed and ensures a nice and tidy sleeve. The zip is located at the outside of the cuff, making it easily accessible when needed.
Quick Access Puller™
The inner pocket of your motorcycle jacket usually holds important objects, such as your wallet or mobile phone. They’re secured safely by the most isolated pocket in your jacket, though they’re also not quickly accessible.
Enter Macna’s Quick Access Puller™: an extended cord that’s attached to the bottom and the runner of the zip. This enables you to open the inner pocket swiftly and gain access to its contents, without having to fumble for the runner when you’re wearing gloves.
Electric Power Guide™
EPG allows you to run power cables trough the inside of your jacket, offering you full movement and no bulk at the wrists. EPG prepared jackets feature loops to easily guide the power cable through the sleeves. With many battery options to choose from, there’s a solution for everybody.
R.I.S.C.™ Protectors
A garment can be fitted with Level 1 or Level 2 protectors, depending on which segment you’re going for. Level 2 protectors are thicker and heavier than Level 1, but in turn they provide better protection. Both levels of RISC protectors are interchangeable and separately available, so you can easily scale down or up if you’d like to.
