Macna Confold™ - jacket converts into backpack

The Flexodus is equipped with a waterproof membrane and thermal liner, both of which are detachable and separately wearable. It is Thermax™ prepared, meaning an electrically heated Thermax™ jacket can be placed inside this one on colder days. Its Water Exhaust™ disperses water caught between membrane and outer layer, and the Electric Power Guide™ (EPG) lets you run cables for heated gear over the thermal liner instead of through your sleeves.

Ventilation is present at the chest, sleeves, and back, most notably in the form of Macna's brand-new feature: Summer Comfort Flex™. SCF consists of a chest piece that can be detached to increase ventilation, or turned around if you prefer a more adventurous look. Side Eye™ reflection is discreet and present where you need it most. 

This jacket is one of a kind because of Macna's patented Confold™ construction that enables you to turn it into a functional backpack so you got your hands free after parking. The backpack is fitted with a Helmet Loop™ to which you can attach your helmet, and it provides enough space for your gloves and essentials.

The Flexodus is equipped with Easy Cuff™ at the wrists, which is a small zip that connects the inner layers of your jacket. The cuffs are also dynamic and adjust themselves to the length of your arms. We call this feature Dyna Cuff™. The inner pocket is easily opened thanks to the Quick Access Puller™, and the collar can be secured by the Collar Loop™ to prevent it from flapping around.

At the back you'll find Macna's Belt Loop™ that enables you to connect the jacket to the belt of your jeans, and a long 8V connection zip for textile and leather pants. The Coat Hanger is developed to carry the weight of a motorcycle jacket, and the Card Pocket on the left lower arm can be used to store your ID, bank card, or other means of payment or identification.

The Flexodus is equipped with certified (level 2) R.I.S.C.™ protectors at the elbows and shoulders. R.I.S.C.™ back and chest protectors are separately available and easily placed in the designated compartments - be sure to check the size table before purchasing any.

Ripstop

Strong fabric with a fine squared pattern texture with reinforced yarns that makes the material stronger and very resistant to tearing. Different variants of ripstop are used in Macna’s riding gear, depending on the style and intended use of the garment.

Dynamic Stretch

Strong and durable double-weave fabric with Aramid yarns. The fabric has 4-way stretch for ease, comfort and a good fit. The fabric is coated, which makes it windproof and water-resistant.

Fybrex

Polyester 500D fabric with high density that is durable, strong and abrasion-resistant.

Foamesh

Strong polyester mesh with a fine knitted structure, laminated against foam for increased comfort, ventilation, and a unique appearance.

Soft Flex DL

Stretch fabric with ripstop weave and directly laminated membrane. The fabric is flexible and waterproof.

IN&OUT™

On the inside, this jacket is equipped with Macna’s IN&OUT jacket. This waterproof membrane can be taken out and worn over the outer shell as a raincoat to prevent the jacket from getting dirty, wet and soggy.

Summer Comfort System™

Unexpectedly sunny weather is a welcome gift for every rider, unless you’re already out on the road in your non-mesh jacket. As the temperature rises, you’re about to get cooked in your own gear. Opening up your main zip a bit might help, but it’s not going to be the relief you need.

That’s where Macna’s Summer Comfort System™ comes in. This central part of the jacket is fully detachable and reveals panels of mesh fabric around the main zip. SCS turns your motorcycle jacket into a semi-mesh jacket with the flick of a wrist.

Confold™

Patented construction of a jacket that enables it to be converted into a backpack so it doesn't have to be carried by hand when off-bike. The backpack provides enough space for a helmet, gloves, and more.

All protectors can remain in the jacket, and there’s enough space for some extra stuff. Attach your helmet to the Helmet Loop™ inside the backpack, toss in your gloves, and enjoy a complete hands-free experience off-bike.

Macna's patented Confold™ construction enables you to turn your jacket into a fully functional backpack. It is fitted with a Helmet Loop™ to which you can attach your helmet, and it provides enough space for your gloves and other belongings in addition to your protective headgear.

Converting the jacket into a backpack is done in 3 simple steps:

• Lay the jacket with its back on the seat of your motorcycle and open the main zip. This will reveal another zip on the inside at the back that needs to be unzipped as well.
• Fold the jacket inside-out, through the opening we’ve just created by unzipping the inner zip. When done correctly, the shoulder straps have come out and are ready to use.
• Toss your belongings in the backpack, attach your helmet to the Helmet Loop™, zip up, and you’ll have a complete hands-free experience after parking your motorcycle.

Easy Cuff™

Loops and snaps that are supposed to neatly connect the separate layers of a jacket or pants. We all know how well that works; it doesn’t. Chances of your watch or foot getting stuck are ten times higher than of you actually putting on the garment without issues.

Make this issue a complaint of the past with Macna’s Easy Cuff™, a zip construction at the cuff that keeps the layers fixed and ensures a nice and tidy sleeve. The zip is located at the outside of the cuff, making it easily accessible when needed.

Collar Loop™

You’re about to reach your destination after a long ride and the difference in temperature is starting to get uncomfortable. You undo your collar, and your body heat rockets out of your jacket. A big relief, weren’t it for the fact your collar is now flapping around and – OUCH! – against your throat.

If you recognize this situation, you’re not the only one. Many did too, which was reason enough for Macna to come up with a Collar Loop™. This hook-and-clip system enables the collar to be zipped open and held aside instead of irritating you, providing ventilation without having to sacrifice your comfort.

Quick Access Puller™

The inner pocket of your motorcycle jacket usually holds important objects, such as your wallet or mobile phone. They’re secured safely by the most isolated pocket in your jacket, though they’re also not quickly accessible.

Enter Macna’s Quick Access Puller™: an extended cord that’s attached to the bottom and the runner of the zip. This enables you to open the inner pocket swiftly and gain access to its contents, without having to fumble for the runner when you’re wearing gloves.

Thermax Jacket

Electrically heated jacket on the inside of your motorcycle jacket. Power this heated inner jacket through a battery or a direct connection to your motorcycle. Can also be connected to Macna’s other e-heated gear.

Coat Hanger™

A motorcycle jacket often weighs (a lot) more than a regular jacket. You might notice it when wearing one, and maybe even more when taking it off and carrying it by the ‘coat hanger’ at the neck – which is often just a textile loop that eventually snaps due to the weight of your motorcycle jacket.

Macna’s Coat Hanger™ is specifically designed to carry the weight of your motorcycle jacket. This strong and durable handle is found at the neck, though they chose to place it on the outside to enable the jacket to dry and air better when stored on, for example, a coat rack.

Side Eye™

Reflective elements that remain discreet by day, implemented on the side to boost visibility. Night Eye's little brother.

R.I.S.C.™ Back Protector

You won’t find chest and back protectors in Macna’s garments – with exception of protective jackets such as the Korus and Whizzar – but they are separately available should you fancy extra protection. Make sure to check out the size table if you’re thinking about purchasing a Level 2 back protector.

R.I.S.C.™ Chest Protector

This unique protector is only available in Level 1 and consists of two separate pieces that automatically interlock after placing them in the designated compartments of your Macna jacket and zipping up.

R.I.S.C.™ Protectors

A garment can be fitted with Level 1 or Level 2 protectors, depending on which segment you’re going for. Level 2 protectors are thicker and heavier than Level 1, but in turn they provide better protection. Both levels of RISC protectors are interchangeable and separately available, so you can easily scale down or up if you’d like to.
