Macna Crest, textile jacket

An outer shell without protectors for road and off-road use.

The Crest is further developed from Macna's Landmark jacket, with this jacket being a slightly lighter version. It is tested and approved as class B. It is advised to wear class B gear in combination with class C, which is protection only. More about that in a bit.  

Aside from the vents at the chest and air outlet at the back, the sleeves are detachable. This jacket is also fitted with Macna's Zip Grip™ to make zipping up with gloves on easier, and a large Back Pocket for your essentials.

Back to protection: when combining class C with class B, you essentially end up with a class A garment. Macna has two options to push the Crest to the next level: Whizzar and Korus.

The Whizzar needs to be combined with a garment of another class as it’s not certified to be worn as a stand-alone product. It features highly breathable fabric and a soft neoprene collar. Also available in a ladies’ variant.

The Korus can be worn separately and also features a chest protector, opposed to the Whizzar. 3D mesh fabric is present in abundance and notable differentiators are the Belt Loop™ and Floating Collar™.

Woven fabric consisting of 3 layers with different properties, fixed together for durability and comfort. Provides thermal insulation and water- and windproofness.

Zip Grip™

Zipping up without gloves isn’t always a success at first try. Inserting one part into another turns out to be surprisingly difficult for the most intelligent species on the planet. Some of us even try this sport with their gloves on – with little success in most cases.

Macna's Zip Grip™ is a triangular reinforcement at the base of the main zip. This reinforcement is easy to get a hold of and provides the needed grip when inserting. Zipping up has just become child’s play, even with gloves on!

Back Pocket

Detachable layers are great for the versatility of a motorcycle jacket. Detach or add a layer when the temperature shifts and you’re ready to continue your journey with as much comfort as before. But where do you store these layers?

That’s where the Back Pocket comes in. This large zip pocket at the lower back is large enough to store detached layers. Other accessories you can’t find a place for can also be stored, as the pocket is fully waterproof.
