Macna Atracor, textile jacket

A wind-blocking softshell jacket for sports and naked bike riders in mild to hot riding conditions.

The Atracor is made of softshell fabric which gives it excellent wind-blocking capabilities. It is fitted with a fixed mesh liner and doesn’t feature a waterproof membrane. The absence of a membrane prevents it from getting sweaty in warm riding conditions.

Ventilation is easily created along the entire length of the jacket with our Summer Comfort System Lite™. Open the main zip and attach it to the second zip possibility to reveal mesh fabric alongside the main zip. Another differentiator can be found at the bottom of the main zip. This reinforcement called Zip Grip™ lets you zip up with ease, even with gloves on.

Other in-house developed differentiators are Belt Loop™ (to prevent your jacket from creeping up in case of a fall) and Hoodie Holder™; a synthetic holder in which the hood can be anchored to prevent it from flapping around. If you like the look or if you’re expecting a local shower after parking, this is the perfect alternative to zipping off the hood completely.

Macna's RISC™ level 1 impact protectors are present at the shoulders and elbows. A RISC™ back protector is separately available and can be placed in the designated compartment with ease. Be sure to check the size table before purchasing a back protector.

Summer Comfort System™

Unexpectedly sunny weather is a welcome gift for every rider, unless you’re already out on the road in your non-mesh jacket. As the temperature rises, you’re about to get cooked in your own gear. Opening up your main zip a bit might help, but it’s not going to be the relief you need.

That’s where Macna's Summer Comfort System™ comes in. This central part of the jacket is fully detachable and reveals panels of mesh fabric around the main zip. SCS turns your motorcycle jacket into a semi-mesh jacket with the flick of a wrist.

Zip Grip™

Zipping up without gloves isn’t always a success at first try. Inserting one part into another turns out to be surprisingly difficult for the most intelligent species on the planet. Some of us even try this sport with their gloves on – with little success in most cases.

Macna's Zip Grip™ is a triangular reinforcement at the base of the main zip. This reinforcement is easy to get a hold of and provides the needed grip when inserting. Zipping up has just become child’s play, even with gloves on!

Belt Loop™

Wearing jeans on a sports- or naked bike can get a bit chilly when your jacket decides to creep up on you. Being cold is one thing, getting hurt is another. In case of an incident, you might end up on your back without your jacket covering it.

Raise your comfort and safety with Macna's Belt Loop™. It is made of strong webbing that is secured at the top of the back and runs all the way down your jacket, where you can connect it to your belt. The Belt Loop™ keeps your jacket in place, prevents a cold back, and raises your safety in case of an incident.

Detachable hood with Hoodie Holder™

If you’re a rider that prefers casually styled riding gear, you might be familiar with your hood catching wind. Being slowed down is annoying enough as it is, not to mention your hood flapping around like a madman.

Prevent your hood from turning into a parachute by using the Hoodie Holder™. Slide the button at the tip of the hood into the Hoodie Holder™ and enjoy a flap-free ride whilst the hood is kept in place.
