Strong woven fabric with fine twill structure and light stretchability which is comfortable to wear.

Raintex ML

The latest addition to Macna’s waterproof membrane collection is Raintex ML, which prevents rainwater from penetrating whilst enabling vapor drops to make their way through. These membranes keep you free from both sweat and rainwater, and are more comfortable than a regular Raintex membrane.

ML stands for ‘mesh laminated’, which means the waterproof membrane is laminated directly against a layer of fine mesh fabric. This fabric is comfortable on the skin as it doesn’t get sticky when riding with a t-shirt underneath, opposed to traditional membrane variants.

These membranes are incorporated into Macna’s waterproof garments in different ways. Some feature a fixed membrane and others are fitted with a detachable one. There are also jackets with a waterproof liner, which means the waterproof membrane and thermal liner are combined to create a single layer.

Night Eye™

Dark grey by day, luminous at night! The fabric is coated with lots of tiny dishes that reflect light back to its source - in your case, the traffic around you.

Easy Cuff™

Loops and snaps that are supposed to neatly connect the separate layers of a jacket or pants. We all know how well that works; it doesn’t. Chances of your watch or foot getting stuck are ten times higher than of you actually putting on the garment without issues.

Make this issue a complaint of the past with Macna’s Easy Cuff™, a zip construction at the cuff that keeps the layers fixed and ensures a nice and tidy sleeve. The zip is located at the outside of the cuff, making it easily accessible when needed.

Zip Grip™

Zipping up without gloves isn’t always a success at first try. Inserting one part into another turns out to be surprisingly difficult for the most intelligent species on the planet. Some of us even try this sport with their gloves on – with little success in most cases.

Macna’s Zip Grip™ is a triangular reinforcement at the base of the main zip. This reinforcement is easy to get a hold of and provides the needed grip when inserting. Zipping up has just become child’s play, even with gloves on!

Card Pocket

You finally have the weekend off and time to ride. Your motorcycle gear is ready to be jumped into, and shortly after you’re cruising the roads in total freedom. Unfortunately, your happiness only last for a short while, as the first toll booth already appears in sight.

To minimize your time lost at mandatory stops such as toll booths, Macna fitted a Card Pocket at the outside of the left lower arm. You can use this pocket to store an access card or other means of identification or payment.

R.I.S.C.™ Protectors

A garment can be fitted with Level 1 or Level 2 protectors, depending on which segment you’re going for. Level 2 protectors are thicker and heavier than Level 1, but in turn they provide better protection. Both levels of RISC protectors are interchangeable and separately available, so you can easily scale down or up if you’d like to.

R.I.S.C.™ Back Protector

You won’t find chest and back protectors in Macna’s garments – with exception of protective jackets such as the Korus and Whizzar – but they are separately available should you fancy extra protection. Make sure to check out the size table if you’re thinking about purchasing a Level 2 back protector.
