The Duran is a touring boot designed for motorcyclists looking for optimal, top-of-the-range functionality. It combines breathable stretch-fitting polyester with lightweight, durable microfiber and the GORE-TEX® climate membrane to provide optimal breathability and waterproofing.

For maximum protection, the shin, heel, toe and ankle areas are reinforced with PU. The closure system combines a zipper with a Velcro fastening strip, and the rear loop allows for quick and efficient entry.

The pre-formed footbed ensures a very comfortable fit, which is ideal for both riding and walking. The GAERNE Touring sole offers excellent grip and stability in all terrains. First-class craftsmanship Made in Italy.

GORE-TEX membrane construction

Shoes with GORE-TEX Extended Comfort product technology are specially designed for indoor and outdoor activities in warm temperatures.

They are durably waterproof and highly breathable, providing a high level of weather protection. Water stays outside while perspiration can escape freely. Thanks to the non-insulated construction, they are the ideal solution for those who value maximum climate comfort and optimal heat dissipation.

Laminate construction

The core of these shoes is a thin, three-layer, non-insulating GORE-TEX Extended Comfort laminate. It consists of a highly abrasion-resistant, quick-drying textile lining, the microporous GORE-TEX membrane made of ePTFE, and a protective knit. Extended Comfort laminates are highly breathable and known for their outstanding heat dissipation properties. Feet are durably protected from the penetration of water, dubious liquids and sand, while sweat that occurs in the shoe can escape even faster to the outside.

GORE-TEX® material technology

The climate membrane is an extremely thin layer of stretched polytetrafluoroethylene (1.4 billion pores per square centimeter). The pores give the GORE-TEX material its special properties. Waterproof: products can withstand high water pressure, which can occur in extreme weather conditions and challenging applications. Windproof: This feature ensures a comfortable feeling, as the clothing does not let any wind through, thus maintaining your microclimate. Breathable: The material does not allow water vapor molecules to escape to the outside, thus helping to prevent overheating and the build-up of moisture inside the clothing.
