Sidi MAG-1 Air, boots

Sidi Sport’s design team has created a brand new motorcycle sport boot with a modern and futuristic look that utilizes the highest quality materials in its structure to create a boot at the forefront of technology, functionality and production quality.

The Motorcycle Boots was developed through research, laboratory tests and ‘on the track’ testing thanks to Sidi’s Moto-GP riders’ input, all to offer you a brilliant performance during your rides.

• Achilles areas are covered with elastic textile and injection molded polyurethane panels
• Arch area utilizes two TPU bands next to the TECNO-3 Magnetic closures, for a maximum support and wrap of the arches
• Asymmetric and shaped shock absorbing heel cup, smooth and flat inside for more adherence with the bike, with shock absorbing system in the back and outside
• The shell and the shock absorbing system are replaceable through a screw and an interlocking system Nylon inner sole with removable arch support pad
• Replicable external shin, heel and toe sliders

Carbon Fiber Brace system

First things of notice is that the Mag-1 has no visual brace system. Sidi Integrated a carbon-fiber brace in the boot itself. This brace allows excellent flex movement front-to-back while being firm side-to-side. The rear-upper features a soft red TPU-plastic to prevent the system pushing in your calf.

Tecno-3 Magnetic closure system

The newly fitted closure system called "Tecno-3 Magnetic" makes sure the boot will perfectly fit by its precise adjusting. It is quick and easy to use due to the magnetic closure, helping you close the boot with one hand only. The magnets will stick on the boot in order to keep the closure in place. The boot folds together, which makes a zipper superfluous.

A-Symmetric ankles and a zipless closure

The ankles of the boot are smooth and flat inside for more adherence with the bike and feature a  replaceable shock absorbing system in the back and outside. The boot is made of synthetic leather and is triple-stitched on the high-stress areas. The arch and Achilles areas are covered with Sidi’s exclusive elastic textile and injection molded polyurethane comfort panels

The Calf of the Mag-1 can accommodate riders with up to an 35 cm calf diameter

The inner lining features a membrane made from Teflon and nylon which folds around the calf and ankles. The lower part of the boot has a Cambrelle lining. The Toe slider is made from nylon reinforced with fiberglass and features an air intake and alloy insert. The Calf of the Mag-1 can accommodate riders with up to an 35 cm calf diameter when measured 25 cm up from the bottom of the heel.
