TCX Street 3 WP S26, shoes waterproof

The Street 3 WP are certified motorcycle shoes and offer the perfect combination of protection in the saddle and freedom when walking for everyday use.

The upper is made of leather and thanks to the lining with impermeable T-DRY membrane, the new STREET 3 WP do not shy away from the rain.

Protection is provided by the reinforcements on the toe and heel and the inserts on the ankle made of D3O, a patented soft and flexible material that nevertheless stiffens in case of impact.

One of the most important points in creating the perfect balance between protection and comfort in the shoe Street 3 WP is the highly resistant but at the same time flexible sole: it is characterized by the special Zplate® insert in molded polymer that combines transverse rigidity for maximum safety and longitudinal flexibility thanks to its Z shape. Zplate® allows the shoe to follow all the natural movements of the foot both in the saddle and when walking, but at the same time it protects against the compression of the shoe in case of impact.

The Ortholite® insole is optimized to provide reliable cushioning to the sole of the foot even after frequent use and perfect breathability in all conditions.

The Groundtrax® sole has a self-cleaning tread and a compound specially designed to resist wear and guarantee maximum grip on the controls of the motorcycle.

The closure is made by laces with retention system consisting of an elastic loop on the strap.

ZPLATE®

Sturdy laterally, flexibe frontally. The ZPLATE shank in the midsole keeps the right flexibility of the shoe, for an optimal riding and walking comfort, ensuring at the same time the transverse rigidity to protect the foot, in case it would be crushed under the vehicle.

Groundtrax® outsole

Groundtrax® outsoles are engineered to ensure stability, grip and traction both on the footpegs and once got off the saddle. This is due to the design of lugs and grooves, as well as the choice of the rubber compound, which also maximize the wear-resistance and self-cleaning of the tread. The sole is featured by a dedicated gear shift area, to provide an higher precision during the ride.

D3O® inserts

In its raw form the D3O® molecules flow freely, thanks to their non-Newtonian nature, allowing the material to be soft and flexible. On impact, the D3O® molecules lock together, absorb and dissipate the energy from impacts, significantly reducing the amount of force that gets transmitted to the body compared to standard materials.
