TCX Mood 2, shoes Gore-Tex

Waterproof and breathable, Mood 2 Gore-Tex® are motorcycle shoe suitable for urban use, in all weather conditions. The integration of a Gore-Tex® Extended membrane, as well as the upper’s composition, make the Mood 2 GTX® versatile and functional, ideal for daily use in spring, summer and fall.

Reinforced inserts on toe and heel guarantee excellent impact protection while D30® inserts on the shin ensure high levels of comfort and freedom of movement.

Stability and riding sensitivity are provided by the Groundtrax® sole, for excellent grip on the pedals even on rainy days. Walking comfort is guaranteed by the special Zplate® insert, whose purpose is to combine longitudinal flexibility following the foot’s natural movements with transverse rigidity, for maximum safety if the shoe gets crushed.

The integration of the Ortholite® insole providing breathability and durable cushioning further adds high levels of comfort for everyday use.

Gore-Tex® Extended Comfort Technology

GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort technology is specifically designed for footwear worn in moderate or warm weather and/or during athletic activities. Its durable, waterproof, non-insulating construction provides extreme breathability and optimal heat dissipation, allowing perspiration to easily escape from the inside, while moisture from the outside cannot penetrate.

Ortholite® foot bed

Experience the comfort of the foot beds made with OrthoLite® PU foam.

Long-term cushioning: OrthoLite® foam compresses less than 5% of its thickness over the lifetime of the footbed, so the cushioning, fit, comfort and performance never change.

High level breathability: the open-cells of the OrthoLite® foam, allows air to circulate in and around the footbed, moving the moisture away and keeping the foot cooler and drier.

Groundtrax® outsoles

Groundtrax® outsoles are designed to provide stability, grip and traction both at the footpegs and after getting out of the saddle. This is due to the design of the lugs and grooves and the choice of rubber compound, which also maximizes wear resistance and self-cleaning of the tread. The sole has a special switching area to ensure greater precision during the ride.
