Adaptive Aero System (AAS)

SHARK's Adaptive Aero System is an aerodynamic spoiler concept that dynamically adapts its shape to the airflow. The helmet has a patented, movable spoiler that automatically moves into the optimal position depending on speed, angle of attack, and head position—without any active mechanics.

The result is a significant reduction in the forces acting on the head and neck muscles at high speeds.

System performance data:

• Flag effect: –80%
  Minimizes the lateral pull on the helmet when the rider turns their head. Stability is maintained even at extreme speeds.
• Turbulence: –50%
  The adaptive spoiler smooths the airflow and reduces turbulence in the rear head area. This ensures smoother aerodynamics and fewer micro-movements.
• Air resistance: –5%
  An optimized helmet shape and variable spoiler position reduce air resistance. The rider feels significantly less strain, especially in the racing position at high speeds.

A "Second-Skin" effect thanks to best fit

The 3D scan campaign led to an interior helmet design tailored to the rider's morphology for optimal comfort, support, and stability. Interior textiles are high-tech with the Sanitized Antimicrobial label. The helmet includes an Emergency Quick Release System, Ears Pads, and Morpho Pads for optimal support.
