Enjoy the relief of a hot beverage in your hands on a cold day without having to stop at a petrol station. Choose and unlimited power supply and keep on riding comfortably with the luxuriously finished Era 2.0.

The Era 2.0 features Dual Power Technology™ that enables use of both 7.4V and 12V power supplies. Heat these gloves with a small 7.4V battery in each cuff, or connect both gloves directly to the 12V battery of your motorcycle by cable. The latter option results in higher temperatures and an unlimited power supply. You can choose one of 4 heating levels by pressing the battery-level indicator at the back of the hand.

This product contains two 7.4V batteries with 2.2A and — depending on the date of production — a wall charger with multiple attachments for different connections, or a USB charging cable. If you want to make use of Macna's flexible heated ecosystem and connect a stronger power supply, we advise to purchase the gloves and power supply separately.

It is equipped with a waterproof Raintex membrane and made of softshell fabric that provides hand-feel without breaking-in. Its palm is made of synthetic nubuck and goat leather is used to reinforce and provide a high level of abrasion resistance. Its superb fit can be perfected by velcro at the wrist and reflective elements are present at the fingers.

Its Water Exhaust™ drains any water caught between membrane and outer shell. This feature is incorporated into the wrist strap, which is also fitted with Macna's 30° Brace to provide optimal freedom of movement at the wrist. Touchscreens can be operated thanks to the heat-conductive fabric at the tip of the thumb and index finger. This finger is also equipped with a rubber-like extension at the ridge that enables you to wipe rainwater off your visor within a second.

Knuckles are guarded by a pre-shaped R.I.S.C.™ 3D protector, which is made of temper foam and provides impact absorption - just like the flexible EVA accent at the thumb. The palm is fitted with a solid, impact-absorbing, and abrasion-resistant R.I.S.C.™ protector made of TPU.

Goat leather

Goat leather is a strong leather with a rough texture. It is flexible, soft and durable.

Synthetic Nubuck

Brushed synthetic leather which is soft, flexible, breathable and has the look of real suede.

Bemberg™

An artificial textile fiber obtained from natural materials, including cellulose from a variety of botanical sources, and featuring a silky texture, used as a lining inside gloves in order to offer a pleasant and comfortable contact zone.

Raintex

Much of Macna’s gear is fitted with a waterproof Raintex membrane that prevents rainwater from penetrating whilst enabling vapor drops to make their way through. These membranes keep you free from both sweat and rainwater.

Raintex membranes are incorporated into Macna’s waterproof garments in different ways. Some feature a fixed membrane and others are fitted with a detachable one. There are also jackets with a waterproof liner, which means the waterproof membrane and thermal liner are combined to create a single layer.

Water Exhaust™

Membranes indeed block water, but that doesn’t mean water is unable to penetrate the outer layer. This can cause water to get trapped between outer layer and membrane, resulting in your glove becoming wet, cold, and soggy.

By fitting a garment with a Water Exhaust™, Macna prevents it from getting soaked, cold, and soggy. The Water Exhaust™ drains any excess rainwater that wants to accumulate between the waterproof Raintex membrane and outer layer, causing the garment to dry much faster

Dual Power Technology™

Imagine a drag race between a 700 cc and 1200 cc motorcycle; who do you think would win?

Aha! You already know more about heated gear than you think. Compared to a 7,4V power supply, a 12V power supply will heat up faster and reaches higher temperatures. Dual Power technology enables choice between a 7,4V or 12V power supply without making that choice permanent, as is the case with traditional heated gear.

Both voltages can be acquired in the form of chargeable batteries with different amperes. Want 12V power and an endless power supply? Hook you gear up to your bike through cables!

Powervein™

Powervein wiring was created 20 years ago and further developed over the past two decades. Most notable improvement is the quality of the wiring, which greatly increases overall durability and effective heat release.

Touch Tip

Touch screens dominate the modern day and age. Smartphones, tablets, and even more important for us motorcyclists: navigation systems. It is nice those screens work by touch, but that’s not really helpful when you’re wearing gloves.

That’s why Maca opts for heat-conductive fabric at the tips of the index fingers. These special Touch Tips enable the warmth of your finger to find its way through so that you can operate touch screens without having to take off your gloves.

30° Brace™

Aside from a closure at the cuff, long-cuffed gloves often also have a strap at the wrist. This strap is placed horizontally in most cases, which does tighten the glove, but also limits your wrist’s freedom of movement.

This complaint was easily solved by Macna’s 30° Buckle, which enables the wrist to move more freely. The Macna 30° Buckle™ has now been revised and reinforced, which has led to a 30° Brace™, rather than a buckle 2.0.

Ergopink™

This ergonomic solution was developed after the success of Macna’s Ergothumb™ construction. Now that the hands of riders were comfortable on the inside of the handlebar, Macna shifted their attention to the outside – to the little finger (i.e. pinkie) to be exact.

Ergopink™ refers to Macna’s ergonomic solution at the outside of the hand. By repositioning the seams on the outside of the pinkie finger, they’ve managed to prevent pressure points and increase your comfort at the handlebar even further.

R.I.S.C.™ 3D Knuckles

Preformed protection at the knuckles, made of comfortable temper foam.

EVA Protection

R.I.S.C. EVA protection consists of rubber foam underneath the outer shell. Protection with EVA padding is flexible and resilient as it recovers quickly from compression.

EVA foam excels in absorbing vibrations and impact forces. It is also characterized by its good thermal insulation as well as low water-absorption. 

Other advantages are its softness, non-toxicity, stress-crack resistance and resistance to ultraviolet radiation which makes EVA suitable for many purposes.
