The Dainese Nexus 2 sport motorcycle boots are made of microfiber and D-Stone, with a nylon insert at the heel. They are equipped with replaceable thermoplastic sliders, the exclusive Dainese Axial Distortion Control System, and nylon inserts on the heel to guarantee high levels of protection, maximum comfort, and lightness.

Axial Distortion Control System

The Axial Distortion Control System for the foot works through an articulated structure integrated into the boot that serves a triple purpose: it protects against sprains, it reduces the intensity of the impact by distributing it over the entire surface of the structure, and it prevents objects from entering the boot.

D-Stone™

D-Stone™ is an extremely resistant material mainly used for Dainese boots and textile clothing. D-Stone™ is made of high-density twisted nylon with elastic inserts with nylon coating. This provides an armor effect and exceptional comfort: the high abrasion, breakage and tear resistance of the material is comparable to that of leather.

The S1 version S1 (without resin coating) offers a Protector treatment. The S1P1 version offers Protector treatment as well as a breathable, windproof polyurethane resin coating. The Protector treatment gives the fabric excellent water and oil repellent features. The material does not need to be ironed to regain its features: Air drying after washing is sufficient. The treatment was developed thanks to the application of nanotechnology to textile finishing.

Microfiber

Microfiber is a nonwoven fabric made of polyurethane and polyamide, which is characterized by its exceptional resistance to wear, tear and shear. Other positive features of this particular product are its softness, flexibility, light weight and water repellency.
