hydratex®|Z-Liner

The REV'IT! hydratex®|Z-Liner membrane features a waterproof layer laminated onto a backing. The backing protects the membrane from wear and tear, and the membrane's seams are welded to ensure waterproofing. The Z-Liner is placed between the lining and the outer shell. The REV'IT! hydratex®|Z-Liner membrane is recommended for garments that require a high degree of all-weather protection.

Boa® closure system

The unique Boa® closure system ensures a perfect fit, extremely fast closure, and very low weight of the shoe. Step into the shoe, press the button to engage, turn it for the perfect fit, and pull the button up to open it quickly. Once engaged, the Boa® rollers and laces remain in that position.

Strobel construction

The Strobel construction connects the upper material to a flexible sole base, reducing weight and improving flexibility for comfort and feel while riding.

Flexblade™ Sole Technology

A proprietary shoe technology that combines the flexibility and cushioning properties of performance running shoes with the lateral stiffness of ride-ready shoes, uniting fit, comfort, and function in one—visible through the cutout in the sole.

The complexity of motorcycle footwear is often overlooked. With over 250 individual components, each part must serve a function – and must work in concert. Nowhere is thatsynergy more critical than in the sole unit.

Cheaper foam constructions may offer a soft start but rapidly lose their comfort and structure. Within months, that cushion collapses, leaving riders unsupported.

For REV’IT!, that was never going to be acceptable. So, REV’IT! redefined the starting point. In REV’IT!‘s SS26 footwear range, models like the Undercut and Subduction take inspiration from the world of performance running. A shift in construction through Strobel techniques allowed REV’IT! to pursue a new kind of comfort – one built to endure. And built to protect.

What? Layering the Sole Unit

Fundamentally, FLEXBLADE™ is a running shoe made for riding. It starts with an 8 mm drop – a subtle forward pitch that mimics athletic footwear and supports active posture on or off the bike.

The foundation is a clean stack:

• Strobel base: a flexible fabric layer directly beneath the foot for comfort and structure.
• Midsole: a high-performance foam tuned for cushion and response.
• Outsole: a grippy rubber layer designed for multisurface traction, segmented for heel and toe control.

These layers are encased within an outer cage that provides form integrity while allowing for controlled flex. Paired with injected structural elements, this sole system bridges the demands of riding and walking – from city streets to light trail detours.

How? Introducing FLEXBLADE™ Technology

At the heart of it all: the FLEXBLADE™ – a CE compliant, PA (polyamide) insert embedded in the sole.

Engineered for transversal stiffness (critical in drop-bike or crush scenarios) while allowing longitudinal flex for walking comfort. Visible through the outsole, the FLEXBLADE™ makes protection part of the design language.

Reinforcing this, an injected TPU heel support adds structure and strength – comparable to that of motocross boots – but in a lightweight, wearable form.

In shoes like the Undercut and Subduction, this system is complemented by highperformance features such as the BOA® Fit System, adding dialed-in adjustability to an already dynamic platform.
