Suede

Suede is a type of leather with a rough finish. Due to its texture and open pores, suede can quickly absorb liquids.

Strobel construction

Strobel construction connects the upper material to a flexible sole base, reducing weight and improving flexibility for comfort and feel while riding.

OrthoLite® X40™ insole

It is recommended that OrthoLite® be used in REV'IT! shoes and boots, as it offers high rebound and elasticity, long-term cushioning and comfort, and low weight.

SEESOFT™ ankle pads

These shoes/boots contain SEESOFT impact-absorbing ankle pads. An extra layer of protection so you can ride safer and walk more comfortably.

Flexblade™ Sole Technology

A proprietary shoe technology that combines the flexibility and cushioning properties of performance running shoes with the lateral stiffness of riding shoes, combining fit, comfort, and function in one – visible through the cutout in the sole.

Why? The challenge of integration

The complexity of motorcycle shoes is often overlooked. With over 250 individual components, each part must fulfill a function – and must work together. Nowhere is this synergy more important than in the sole unit.

Cheaper foam constructions offer a soft start, but quickly lose their comfort and structure. Within a few months, this padding collapses, leaving the motorcyclist without support.

For REV'IT!, this was never acceptable. So REV'IT! redefined the starting point. In REV'IT!'s SS26 shoe collection, models such as Undercut and Subduction are inspired by the world of performance running. A change in construction using Strobel techniques allowed REV'IT! to pursue a new kind of comfort – comfort designed for durability. And protection.

What? Layering of the sole unit

Essentially, FLEXBLADE™ is a running shoe for riding motorcycles. It starts with an 8 mm heel – a subtle forward tilt that mimics sports footwear and supports an active posture on and off the bike.

The foundation is a clean stack:

• Strobel base: a flexible fabric layer directly under the foot for comfort and structure.
• Midsole: a high-performance foam tuned for cushioning and responsiveness.
• Outsole: a grippy rubber layer designed for traction on various surfaces and segmented for heel and toe control.

These layers are surrounded by an outer cage that provides shape stability while allowing for controlled flexibility. Combined with injected structural elements, this sole system meets the demands of riding and walking—from city streets to light trail detours.

How? With FLEXBLADE™ technology

At its heart: FLEXBLADE™—a CE-compliant PA (polyamide) insert in the sole.

Designed for lateral stiffness (crucial in falls or crushes) and longitudinal flexibility for walking comfort. FLEXBLADE™ is visible through the outsole, making protection part of the design.

This is reinforced by an injected TPU heel support that provides structure and strength – comparable to motocross boots – but in a lightweight, wearable form.

In shoes such as the Undercut and Subduction, this system is complemented by powerful features such as the BOA® Fit System, which adds precise adjustability to an already dynamic platform.
