Built with stretchy hydratex®|WindBarrier® softshell fabric and a loose-fitting silhouette, the Boson jacket captures outdoor-inspired appeal while still delivering essential motorcycle safety. A fitting combination, as the balance of form and function in outdoor gear translates perfectly to life both on and off the bike. Take the hood, for instance - secured with a snap to prevent it from catching in the wind - or the oversized angular pockets that provide ample storage while adding distinct character.

Sticking to a style-meets-substance approach, the Boson jacket also features jeans loops and a short connection zipper, allowing you to attach it securely to your favorite pants or riding jeans. And for enhanced protection, upgrading with a Level 2 back protector is effortless - simply slip it in, and you’re ready to ride.

hydratex®|WindBarrier®

The REV'IT! WindBarrier® membrane is laminated between two separate fabric layers: a stretchy upper layer and a soft fleece inner layer. This combination protects against wind and helps repel water. Protection from wind and rain prevents hypothermia and improves comfort and warmth for the motorcyclist.

SEESOFT™ Level 2 Back Protector - Type RV

The back protector pocket in this REV'IT! garment is tailor-made to accommodate the SEESOFT™ Level 2 Back Protector Insert Type RV - an easy upgrade for maximum safety.

SEESMART™ Level 1 Protectors

SEESMART™ protectors offer maximum flexibility while still passing the Level 1 impact tests according to EN1621-1:2012, both under normal and hot (T+) conditions.

Avertum Tech-Air® Airbag System Ready – One Size Larger

You can wear the REV'IT! Avertum Tech-Air® airbag – or a Tech5 airbag – if you purchase the garment one size larger than your usual size.

If you want to wear a garment that is labeled “prepared for the Avertum Tech-Air® airbag system,” you must ensure that the garment can accommodate the expansion of the airbag.

REV'IT! therefore recommends following the fit equation below:

• Measure your chest circumference and divide the result by two
• Measure the garment flat across the chest line
• If the difference between point 1 and point 2 is 12 centimeters or more, the garment is suitable for wearing over the airbag

Note

Please note that the garment should be purchased in the correct size so that the shoulder and elbow protectors fit properly and provide optimal protection in the event of an accident. To make room for the airbag to expand, you can remove any separate layers (thermal lining, waterproof lining) that could restrict the airbag's expansion in the event of an accident.

Remove the separate back protector in your garment, if present, when wearing the airbag (a back protector is included in the airbag) and adjust all straps on the body to the widest position.
