Review: Great Gloves
Great Gloves, good sized gauntlet. I sized my hand and came to an 8.5, fits exact. Fingers are slightly too long, but I have smallish hands.

I have had 2 pairs of the original phantoms and crashed in both sets,having tried many of the top branded gloves these are without doubt the best I have used.the phantom 2 feel like more of the same.....superb!!!

Review: The best gloves money can buy
I was looking for a pair of good quality track-use gloves which should last me a few seasons of riding and not compromise on safety or comfort. The usual suspects in the choice bracket were the A-Star and Dainese top ones. A bit of research and I found a lot of good reviews on Held Phantom series. Almost everyone had only good things to talk about them and people who had crashed in them swore by them. Decided to believe the words of fellow riders and took the plunge. I measured my hand and it came between a size 9.5 and 10. Decided to go one side up to be on the safer side and ordered the size 10 in full black. PROS: 1. Full Kangaroo leather - kangroo leather feels amazing and extremely light weight. They are unbelievably light and this factor helps in reducing fatigue even if its minimal. 2. Stingray protectors - Stingray is the best out there for sliders and good to see it being used here to good effect. 3. Titanium + Kevlar - Safety is top notch on the Phantoms. These gloves feel bomb proof and are right up there at the top of the food chain in terms of safety 4. Comfort - The gloves feel very soft on the hand and the ventilation and finish is good too. They feel super comfortable right out of the box which is a good thing. 5. Price - for the money one pays for these, you get a lot of bang for your buck. Makes the deal only sweeter CONS: 1. The size 10 feels just that wee-bit big for my hand. Its not a big deal but I get a feeling that a 9.5 would have probably fit better. But I am sticking with the 10 and not exchanging them for the 9.5 because they feel right despite there being an mm or two to spare above the ring and pinky fingers 2. The thumb is huge. Maybe Held used a camel\'s toe for digit ratios or whatever but its plain simple stupid how they messed up an otherwise perfect ergo and design. 3. The cuff closure velcro patch is a bit too small for my liking. would have preferred a bigger and more substantial closure patch. 4. The all-black is full stealth design and I prefer it that way. But a lot of people would miss the bling factors that an A-star or a Dainese carry. I had almost gone for the neon-yellow ones but then stuck to the black. Would I recommend these gloves? a big YES I am super impressed with the product. So much so that my next gloves purchase would most probably be a Held too.

Review: Not a Perfect Fit, but Close Enough
I should have followed the sizing chart from Held exactly. My hand measurement was 9.25\\\" and I ordered the Phantom II gloves in a size 10. Well the fingers are ever so slightly too long, while the thumb is noticeably large. So I have ordered the size 9.5 and will return the size 10 gloves. I have not received the size 9.5 order yet, but I expect the thumb will remain large, as others have stated. I wish Held had the thumb sizing more corrected to the majority of riders, as the extra length takes away from what would be a perfect fit of the fingers. The pinky fits me a TINY bit too long also, but it doesn\\\'t matter to me. I would rather a tad too large than to be too small and have hand go numb. The last complaint has to do with the gauntlet top of the glove. It seems to be the perfect \\\"in between size\\\" that makes it difficult to get over OR under the sleeve of my jacket, but I can make it work with a bit of extra effort. Even with the minor complaints, this is by far the highest quality glove I have owned and super comfortable and well protected. I look forward to many miles with these gloves.

Review: SO far so good
Appearance wise these are very nice quality, neat stitching and in general it looks like a well thought out glove - nothing gaudy nor seeming to be added just for fashion. The fingers are feeling long for me, and i went down a half size compared to my Held Twins. They start out with figers feeling correct to length but over the ride my hand seems to move back and the fingers end up too long. SUspect its just not the right fit for my hand but i also think the knuckle guard might be moving thr glove on my hand as i curl etc around the bars - will see over a longer period if they do settle down (i have adjusted my brake lever out to account for the extra finger length movement of my finger from throttle to brake). The fit is snug elsewhere and the pair of tightening straps do a quick and easy job. Feel through the fingers is god though again the extra length is requiring some adjustment. Perhaps a half size down again and hope they stretch around the palm might be a better fit for me.
