Cool-leather
In bright sunshine, you can expect dark leather to heat up, and it always does - or it used to. Not any more! Not if it has been tanned with the special TFL COOL SYSTEM®, which makes it reflect the sun like lighter-coloured leathers. The surface temperature of the leather can be reduced by more than 20°C, and the wearer benefits from a temperature reduction inside the leathers of up to 12°C in direct sunshine.
COOL™ LEATHER has improved UV-resistance, and remains good-looking throughout its life. It should be treated only with colourless dubbin, as the pigments and dyes in leather care products may destroy the reflecting effect. Treat the leather from time to time as recommended. The COOL effect will be retained throughout if you follow the manufacturer's care instructions.
