Taylor Monolayer gives you AAA certified jeans in monolayer fabric design, as the name suggests, for a cool and comfortable wearing experience on a hot day.

The design is based on a special weaving process that combines denim fabric with XTM-Fiber®, combining knee and hip protectors into a good-fitting jeans in standard cut that you can wear all day without any discomfort.

Taylor Monolayer has a standard-fit, classical five-pocket style and enough stretch in the fabric to ensure excellent wearing comfort.

MonoLayer with XTM-Fiber®

One layer, many features. The XTM-Fiber® innovation gives you a thinner monolayer version that is perfect for the warmer months. Integrated XTM-Fiber® strikes an ideal balance between top protection and excellent wearing experience. John Doe’s monolayer material is extremely abrasion-resistant for maximum protection in a fall. The stretch component in the fabric accommodates every movement you make for the most comfortable possible wearing experience in any position you might take.

Certification

All John Doe products are tested and certified according to the most recent certification standard applicable. Every item goes through multi-stage quality assurance process that covers a variety of test criteria. The most important criteria are abrasion and tear resistance as well as seam strength in protective gear. Then there’s ergonomics and fit. This means that protectors should stay in their proper position and also withstand a good deal of shock in a fall.

Water-repellent and breathable

Most of John Doe’s products have a dirt and water-repellent coating to keep dirt from the road or the odd rainy spell from spoiling your trip. A breathable mixed fiber lining in Coolmax® hugs the skin to keep you cool and fresh while wicking away moisture towards the surrounding air. This will save you from breaking a sweat even on longer trips.

Maximum protection and comfort: The interwoven Lycra® keeps XTM-Fiber® especially elastic, accommodating your movements as you ride.

Protector ready

Almost all the items in John Doe’s collection are reinforceable using super comfortable protectors. All you need to do to upgrade your item is to fit the knee, hip or back protectors on your trousers, shirt or jacket for even more impact protection.
