YSS Mono, rear shock

YSS motorcycle mono shocks with gas pressure shock absorber.

Gas pressure shock absorbers are oil pressure shock absorbers that contain high pressure nitrogen gas inside the cylinder to minimize foam or bubbles in the shock oil. This causes the damper to operate smoothly.

YSS gas pressure shock absorbers can be divided into two groups.

Emulsion Gas Pressure Shock Absorber

Emulsion gas shock absorbers are a mixture of oil and gas shock absorbers where nitrogen gas is compressed to mix with the oil and increase the pressure to make the shock more flexible and responsive to the driver.

YSS gas pressure shock absorbers with external gas reservoir have the shock oil and gas separated, which prevents bubbles in the oil and allows better cooling.

YSS Mono Shock Product Lines

MZ - Top Line

• Milled aluminum body
• Sock absorber adjustable in spring preload and rebound (30 clicks)
• The locking of the spring preload is by means of grub screw
• The adjustment tool is included.

ME - Eco Line

• Milled aluminum body
• Spring preload adjustable
• The spring preload is locked by means of a grub screw
• The adjustment tool is included in the scope of delivery
