Our Daytona is a lace-up boot specifically designed for riding motorcycles. This classic leather boot has all important features required of a modern motorcycle shoe. The combination of genuine cowhide and added XTM-Fiber ® membrane (fiber technology made from DuPont ™ Kevlar® Coolmax® and Lycra®) give this boot its high functionality and the respective protection in extreme conditions. So the Daytona by John Doe provides additional abrasion protection over regular leather motorcycle shoes. Another feature is the John Doe Threepoint-Protection, providing additional reinforcement at the ankle, heel and front. Leather "shift protection" adequately protects the boot and adds grip for shifting the motorcycle.
All of our motorcycle shoes of course also have a "waterstop function" (like trekking and hiking shoes), i.e. the tongue is designed to prevent water from quickly seeping into the shoe at the laces. The "easy entry" to the shoe via zipper allows the rider to quickly and easily put the shoe on and take it off without unlacing for added comfort. An oil-resistant, vibration absorbing non-slip sole is also standard on our JohnDoe motorcycle shoes. The beautiful vintage leather and details such as a John Doe logo embossed in leather on the ankle protection and the JDM metal emblem on the tab round off the classic design of our "Daytona".

Da ich oft zwischen 43 und 44 liege und mir von den Bildern her einige Schuhe und Stiefel gefallen haben, wollte ich nicht so viele zu mir liefern lassen und habe die in Aachen im Lager probiert. Erstmal, es war eine super freundliche und geduldige Mitarbeiterin dort, die mir immer sehr hilfreich beratend und absolut objektiv zur Seite stand. Letztendlich hat mich dieser Stiefel absolut überzeugt und passt eine Nummer größer. Normal trage ich 43 aber wie bei ALLEN anderen Modellen auch, ist mir diese Größe bei den Motorradstiefeln zu klein. In diesem Stiefel habe ich mich vom ersten Moment an super wohl gefühlt. Perfekt ist der Reißverschluss. Die Schnürung konnte ich super einstellen und durch den Reißverschluss lässt sich der Stiefel sehr einfach ausziehen und auch anziehen. Das WOW Gefühl kam direkt bei der Heimfahrt, denn durch den Reißverschluss kommt eine angenehme kühlende Luft durch, die das Tragen bei solchen Temperaturen von 30 Grad sehr angenehm macht. Das Leder ist noch ein wenig steif, aber das gibt sich sicherlich und wurde schon nach ein paar Stunden besser. Selbst das Gehen ist in den Stiefeln sehr bequem. Keine Naht oder Protektor drückt oder scheuert. FAZIT: Ich bin absolut zufrieden nach dem ersten Tag und werde nach ein paar Ausflügen sicherlich noch mehr berichten können. Vielen Dank an die tolle Mitarbeiterin und motoin für den Service.
