Un estabilizador del acelerador es un mecanismo de control del acelerador que permite al piloto asegurar su acelerador a una apertura o ajuste deseado.

El kit estabilizador del acelerador de KAOKO™ consiste en una tuerca de fricción sencilla, ingeniosa y de diseño robusto que se integra con un peso especial de KAOKO™ en el extremo del manillar. El contrapeso del manillar de KAOKO™ se asemeja en apariencia y peso al contrapeso del manillar del fabricante de equipos originales (OEM). La mayoría de las instalaciones requieren simplemente la eliminación del peso final de la barra OEM y el montaje del kit estabilizador del acelerador KAOKO en su lugar.

Para acoplar

Mientras se rueda sobre el acelerador, la tuerca de fricción se puede agarrar entre el dedo meñique y la palma de la mano. Esta acción aprieta la tuerca y proporciona suficiente fricción para ajustar el acelerador a la apertura deseada. (La fricción es tal que el piloto puede seguir abriendo y cerrando el acelerador. Simplemente tiene una ligera resistencia a la rotación).

Para desembragar

Mientras se suelta el acelerador, se agarra la tuerca de fricción entre el dedo meñique y la palma de la mano. El acelerador debe abrirse y cerrarse libremente cuando está correctamente desacoplado.

¿Cómo puede un KAOKO™ beneficiar a los conductores de motos Super, Tourer o Cruiser?

Cuando se conduce en carretera, especialmente en viajes largos, puede ser muy incómodo mantener el acelerador abierto durante largos periodos de tiempo. El estabilizador del acelerador de KAOKO ofrece el lujo de mantener el acelerador en su sitio para que su mano y su muñeca se sientan cómodas en todo momento, incluso permitiéndole quitar la mano del acelerador.

KAOKO™ Throttle Stabilizers - How it works

A throttle stabilizer is a throttle controlling mechanism that enables the rider to secure their throttle to a desired opening or setting.

The KAOKO™ Throttle Stabilizer Kit consists of a simple, ingenious and robustly designed friction nut that is integral with a special KAOKO™ handle bar end weight. The KAOKO™ bar end weight is closely matched in appearance and weight to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) bar end weight. Most installations simply require the removal of the OEM bar end weight and the fitting of the KAOKO™ Throttle Stabilizer kit in its place.

Operating KAOKO™ Throttle Stabilizer

To Engage

Whilst rolling on the throttle, the friction nut can be gripped between your small finger and palm of your hand. This action tightens the nut and provides sufficient friction to set the throttle to the desired opening. (The friction is such that the rider may still open and close the throttle. It simply has a slight rotational resistance to it.)

To Disengage

Whilst rolling off the throttle, grip the friction nut between your small finger and palm of your hand. The throttle should open and snap closed freely when correctly disengaged.

How can a KAOKO™ benefit riders with Super-, Tourer- or Cruiser bikes?

When riding on the open road, especially on longer trips – it can be very cumbersome to keep your throttle open for extended periods of time. The KAOKO™ throttle stabilizer offers the luxury of keeping your throttle in place so that your hand and wrist can feel comfortable at all times – even allowing you to take your hand off the throttle.

How can a KAOKO™ benefit riders with adventure bikes?

Off-road riding on bumpy roads can often cause you to clench your throttle to maintain throttle control, potentially causing wrist strain – this is where a KAOKO™ throttle stabilizer can make a big difference in riding comfort by adding friction & rotational resistance to the throttle – thus making off-road riding much easier and more comfortable.
