The special microporous structure of the GORE-TEX fabric, made from expanded PTFE, contains around 1.4 billion microscopic pores per square centimeter. These pores are approximately 20,000 times smaller than a drop of water, but 700 times larger than a molecule of water vapor.

Wanted a more casual look for everyday commute to the office. Spent more than I first wanted to, but the boots are great quality, looks beautiful and fits spot on, feels secure. Have been using them for few weeks, not as slippery as a lot other reviewers have mentioned. Gore-Tex hasn\'t been tested yet in hot or rainy weather. The included gear shift protector that can be strapped on, feels as if will eventually fall off while driving, so basically useless. Overall I\'m satisfied with the shopping and product experience!
