Knox Honister – The top model in the Knox collection – the Knox Honister Class AAA jacket.

AAA is the highest class for motorcycle protective clothing and is usually only achieved by one-piece and two-piece leather suits.

KNOX motorcycle jackets first appeared in the 1990s. KNOX jackets are the centerpiece of the collection, and the Honister model is the new top-of-the-line model. The use of a close-fitting jacket guarantees the safety of the motorcyclist, as the protectors are in the right place and provide the right protection when needed.

The development of the Honister jacket was a major challenge for the KNOX brand. Completely new, durable mesh fabrics had to be used, as the goal was to achieve the highest AAA rating for a jacket that can be worn on warm days and is aimed at motorcyclists who demand the highest performance and quality.

Achieving the AAA class is a remarkable achievement. AAA is the highest class for motorcycle protective clothing and is usually only achieved by one- and two-piece leather suits.

The jacket is equipped with the new Micro-Lock Compact protectors, Knox's most advanced protection. Up to 60% lighter, thinner, and more flexible for all-day comfort.

The Micro-Lock protectors used in the Knox Honister jacket are certified according to EN 1621-1:2012 L2 for shoulders and elbows and according to EN 1621-2:2014 L2 FB for the back. The jacket can be supplemented with an optional chest protector.

The Micro-Lock Compact protectors are designed to conform to the body, move with it while riding, and always be in the right place.

A patented Flex-and-Adapt side closure system opens and closes naturally, allowing for unrestricted freedom of movement. The closure system also provides seamless coverage, ensuring the rider is protected at all times.

The Micro-Lock Compact shoulder and elbow protectors are certified to EN 1621-1:2012 L2, and the back protector meets EN 1621-2: 2014 Level 2. Once registered, the protectors come with a five-year warranty.

The Honister jacket has been redesigned from the ground up. This includes everything from the fit and cut to the functionality of the fabrics. The design has been carefully developed to ensure that the jacket is just as comfortable in difficult conditions as it is on a leisurely ride. The extra attention to detail gives the jacket the right style while ensuring that it meets the technical standard of EN 17092-2:2020 in class AAA.

The development of new mesh fabrics that offer maximum strength and durability has been achieved without compromising breathability. Combined with durable and stretchy polyamide, motorcyclists can rely on the protective properties of the Honister jacket in any environment.

All zippers on Honister jackets are from YKK. The jacket has two side zipper pockets and a large zipper pocket on the back.

Details include the subtle KNOX logo on both the front and back of the jacket. The new sleeve badge has a reflective border and there are reflective stripes on the back that are only visible at night. There are thumb loops on the cuffs for added security. The improved belt loop system is located on the inside – the jacket can be connected to the pants. The collar has a soft finish around the neck.

Honister is also part of the Knox Seasonless Collection. With Knox, the motorcycle season lasts all year round. There is no division into spring, summer, fall, or winter clothing. Instead, motorcyclists get a single multi-layered set. The basis is a shirt with protectors. The clothing can be adapted to all weather conditions by adding or removing layers. The Knox Seasonless Collection is safe, durable, and adaptable.
