Thermoset materials are processed by hand into helmet shells using a lamination process involving fiberglass mats and fabrics; these are then hot-pressed to give the shell its high-strength final structure.
Due to the complex manufacturing process, thermoset helmets are more expensive than models made from thermoplastic materials. They are particularly lightweight, impact-resistant, and highly resistant to aging
Note
Please be aware, as long as nothing else is written in the item description:
- All helmets will be delivered only with the ECE certification by default, even if it is shown differently.
- all helmets that have a visor will be delivered with a clear visor, even if it is shown differently.
