An electrically heated and insulated jacket which can be fitted inside motorcycle jackets but also worn separately, developed for daily commuters and riders in cold to mild conditions.

The Nucleo has two pockets and can be worn as a stand-alone heated jacket, but it’s also possible to fit it inside a motorcycle jacket by use of the loops and snaps that connect inner layers.

Inner layers are normally connected by Macna's in-house developed Easy Cuff™ system, but some jackets are now (also) equipped with loops and snaps to enable heated gear like the Nucleo to be fitted in. Keep an eye out for the term Thermax™ prepared.

To ensure the body is heated adequately and evenly, Macna's Powervein™ wiring is present at the front, back, arms, and collar. Powervein™ wiring was created 20 years ago and further developed over the past two decades. The most notable improvement is the quality of the wiring, which greatly increases overall durability and effective heat release.

Dual Power Technology™ lets you choose between a 7.4- or 12-Volt power supply. Power can be supplied by a battery in the jacket or a direct connection to the battery of your motorcycle.

There are four heating levels, each indicated in their own color by the Power Controller. The controller at the chest also tells you how much power you have left, and lets you change the level by pressing it.

Easy Cuff™

Loops and snaps that are supposed to neatly connect the separate layers of a jacket or pants. We all know how well that works; it doesn’t. Chances of your watch or foot getting stuck are ten times higher than of you actually putting on the garment without issues.

Make this issue a complaint of the past with Macna’s Easy Cuff™, a zip construction at the cuff that keeps the layers fixed and ensures a nice and tidy sleeve. The zip is located at the outside of the cuff, making it easily accessible when needed.

Dyna Cuff™

Chances are likely that your arms are shorter or longer than others. Truth is, no two bodies are the same. For some riders, finding a suitable jacket is an event they can hardly look forward to. Most jackets are either too long or too short, or they fit well but the sleeves are simply too long.

Dyna Cuff™ is a softer, more dynamic cuff that enables the sleeve to retract and adjust itself to the length of the wearer's arm. This solution is particularly great for riders who have short arms in relation to their bodies.

E-Heated

With 20 years of experience and numerous in-house developed technologies, Macna is your wingman in the cold. Macna’s e-heated ecosystem includes several garments that enable you to heat any and every body part you want.

The unique Dual Power technology lets you switch between a 7,4V and 12V power supply whenever you like. There are three ways to power your garments; a battery in the glove or jacket, or a direct connection to your motorcycle.

Batteries feature Macna’s Power Expansion System, which divides the cells of a battery in an ergonomic way to prevent bulk at the wrists. Bluetooth® technology is present in their ecosystem, enabling you to connect all garments to the MACNA Heated app and control them with one hand.

Aha! You already know more about heated gear than you think. Compared to a 7,4V power supply, a 12V power supply will heat up faster and reaches higher temperatures. Dual Power technology enables choice between a 7,4V or 12V power supply without making that choice permanent, as is the case with traditional heated gear.

Powervein™

Grip Plug™

An angled plug with two notches at the top and bottom, found in our e-heated gear. Developed to minimize defects and simultaneously increase usability.

Bluetooth® connectivity

The MACNA Heated App lets you take full control over your e-heated gear. Connect your gear to your phone via Bluetooth® and you’ll never have to search for tucked away power buttons every again. Full control over your gear means you’re always able to adjust the heating levels to your liking. You can select one of four heating levels – 40, 60, 80 or 100% – each indicated in their own color. Different pieces of gear can be grouped in the app, which lets you change the settings or heating levels of all your gear simultaneously. Do you know the exact time of your commute? Or do you want to save at least half of your battery life for the road home? Set timers for each piece of gear to make them switch off automatically.
