Macna Confold™ - jacket converts into backpack

Fire it up and bring on the heat. Let the wind blast right through and cool your body along the way. Conquer the countryside with the Travelair: your wingman for fun in the scorching sun.

The Travelair is made in large part of mesh fabric that forms our Air Burst™ feature: a construction that spikes ventilation the moment you hit the gas. Impact-sensitive areas such as elbows and shoulders consist of abrasion-resistant materials.

This jacket is one of a kind because of Macna's patented Confold™ construction that enables you to turn it into a functional backpack so you got your hands free after parking. The backpack is fitted with a Helmet Loop™ to which you can attach your helmet, and it provides enough space for your gloves and essentials.

The cuffs are dynamic and adjust themselves to the length of your arms, Macna calls this feature Dyna Cuff™. At the back Macna fitted a short 8V connection zip and a Coat Hanger that’s developed to carry the weight of a motorcycle jacket. The Card Pocket on the lower left arm can be used to store your ID, bank card, or other means of payment or identification. 

The Travelair is equipped with certified (level 1) R.I.S.C.™ protectors at the elbows and shoulders. R.I.S.C.™ back and chest protectors are separately available and easily placed in the designated compartments.

Fybrex

Polyester 500D fabric with high density that is durable, strong and abrasion-resistant.

3D Mesh

3D mesh offers a perfect combination of cushioning and good ventilation thanks to its open structure, through which air can circulate very well.

Softwill

Strong woven fabric with fine twill structure and light stretchability which is comfortable to wear.

Micro Mesh

Strong polyester mesh with a fine knitted structure which provides ventilation and gives an unique appearance.

Quick Access Puller™

The inner pocket of your motorcycle jacket usually holds important objects, such as your wallet or mobile phone. They’re secured safely by the most isolated pocket in your jacket, though they’re also not quickly accessible.

Enter Macna’s Quick Access Puller™: an extended cord that’s attached to the bottom and the runner of the zip. This enables you to open the inner pocket swiftly and gain access to its contents, without having to fumble for the runner when you’re wearing gloves.

Coat Hanger™

A motorcycle jacket often weighs (a lot) more than a regular jacket. You might notice it when wearing one, and maybe even more when taking it off and carrying it by the ‘coat hanger’ at the neck – which is often just a textile loop that eventually snaps due to the weight of your motorcycle jacket.

Macna’s Coat Hanger™ is specifically designed to carry the weight of your motorcycle jacket. This strong and durable handle is found at the neck, though they chose to place it on the outside to enable the jacket to dry and air better when stored on, for example, a coat rack.

Confold™

Patented construction of a jacket that enables it to be converted into a backpack so it doesn't have to be carried by hand when off-bike. The backpack provides enough space for a helmet, gloves, and more.

All protectors can remain in the jacket, and there’s enough space for some extra stuff. Attach your helmet to the Helmet Loop™ inside the backpack, toss in your gloves, and enjoy a complete hands-free experience off-bike.

Macna's patented Confold™ construction enables you to turn your jacket into a fully functional backpack. It is fitted with a Helmet Loop™ to which you can attach your helmet, and it provides enough space for your gloves and other belongings in addition to your protective headgear.

Converting the jacket into a backpack is done in 3 simple steps:

• Lay the jacket with its back on the seat of your motorcycle and open the main zip. This will reveal another zip on the inside at the back that needs to be unzipped as well.
• Fold the jacket inside-out, through the opening we’ve just created by unzipping the inner zip. When done correctly, the shoulder straps have come out and are ready to use.
• Toss your belongings in the backpack, attach your helmet to the Helmet Loop™, zip up, and you’ll have a complete hands-free experience after parking your motorcycle.

Vision Tech Vest prepared

This garment is fitted with two buckles at the chest to make sure Macna’s Vision Tech vest stays in place and doesn't interfere.

Vision 2C LED light prepared

Visibility boost in the form of a secondary tail light, fixed high upon your back.

Side Eye™

Reflective elements that remain discreet by day, implemented on the side to boost visibility. Night Eye's little brother.

R.I.S.C.™ Protectors

A garment can be fitted with Level 1 or Level 2 protectors, depending on which segment you’re going for. Level 2 protectors are thicker and heavier than Level 1, but in turn they provide better protection. Both levels of RISC protectors are interchangeable and separately available, so you can easily scale down or up if you’d like to.

R.I.S.C.™ Back Protector

You won’t find chest and back protectors in Macna’s garments – with exception of protective jackets such as the Korus and Whizzar – but they are separately available should you fancy extra protection. Make sure to check out the size table if you’re thinking about purchasing a Level 2 back protector.
