D3O® protectors are made from material containing intelligent molecules that move freely under normal conditions. This makes the protectors soft and flexible in their normal state, allowing them to fit comfortably to the body. In the event of a sudden impact (such as a fall), the molecules instantly lock together, providing excellent shock absorption. D3O® protectors react within a fraction of a second and return to their original state just as quickly once the impact is over.
