Style and refinement go a long way, both now and back in the day. Some classics carry over to present times, sometimes with a modern twist. Keep it casual with a retro touch and the Rigid 2.0: a leather glove with a perfected fit.
The Rigid 2.0 elaborates on the success of its original: (perforated) goat leather with a superb fit that feels like a second skin thanks to nearly forty years of glove knowledge. Critical areas are reinforced with a second layer of leather, and the glove is perforated all around to ensure enough ventilation. Stretch fabric is used in between the fingers to raise dexterity.
It features Macna's Ergothumb™ construction, which reduces pressure points to raise comfort and provides a wrinkle-free look. Touchscreens can be operated thanks to the heat-conductive fabric at the tip of the thumb and index finger. Its superb fit can be perfected by velcro at the short cuff.
Knuckles are guarded by a pre-shaped R.I.S.C.™ 3D protector, which is made of temper foam and provides impact absorption - just like the flexible EVA protection at the palm. The most abrasion-sensitive areas are reinforced with leather to raise abrasion resistance.

Goat leather is a strong leather with a rough texture. It is flexible, soft and durable.
Ergothumb™
Ride long enough and eventually anything in an ‘unnatural’ position will start to hurt. In this case, Macna doesn't blame you, but your gear. Traditional gloves simply aren’t designed to grab the handlebar and maintain that position, sometimes for hours on end.
Ergothumb™ is an ergonomic construction that prevents wrinkling, pressure points, and pain, due to the thumb and index finger being made of one and the same panel of fabric. This creates a preformed glove that’s in its ‘natural’ position when you are riding.
Touch Tip
Touch screens dominate the modern day and age. Smartphones, tablets, and even more important for us motorcyclists: navigation systems. It is nice those screens work by touch, but that’s not really helpful when you’re wearing gloves.
That’s why Maca opts for heat-conductive fabric at the tips of the index fingers. These special Touch Tips enable the warmth of your finger to find its way through so that you can operate touch screens without having to take off your gloves.

EVA Protection
R.I.S.C. EVA protection consists of rubber foam underneath the outer shell. Protection with EVA padding is flexible and resilient as it recovers quickly from compression.
EVA foam excels in absorbing vibrations and impact forces. It is also characterized by its good thermal insulation as well as low water-absorption.
Other advantages are its softness, non-toxicity, stress-crack resistance and resistance to ultraviolet radiation which makes EVA suitable for many purposes.
