Wearing the same apparel on hot summer days as in the transition period with single-digit temperatures? No problem with the Held Clip-in technology. All Held jackets and trousers, which are equipped with the Clip-in feature can be retrofitted and upgraded with Held Clip-in products.
On the specially colored fixation loops, the Clip-in products are installed by press-studs into the outer shell.
With the blue colored loops and press-studs, the system is easily distinguishable from other fastening systems of the base garment like connecting zips, air-vents and removable membranes and linings.
The individual Clip-in products can also be worn separately for any non-biking activity as leisure wear.

The HLS Technology
Protection thanks to visibility
With the HLS technology Held brings light into the darkness! The retrofittable Held Light System (HLS) is the latest development from Held to make motorcycling even safer. The luminous LED modules, which are integrated into the protective clothing of the motorcyclist, cause a significantly better visibility of the driver in poor lighting conditions. When riding at night, in fog or in the rain, HLS technology represents a decisive factor in accident prevention. Unlike reflector strips, which can only reflect incident light, the HLS light guides shine independently and permanently - a highlight in the truest sense of the word.
- The heart of the HLS technology is the HLS set. This consists of two white and two red LED modules, each connected with a USB connection cable. To use the HLS set, a compatible Held jacket or safety vest, with the feature " LED Prepared" and a commercially available battery pack (power bank) are required as a power source.
- The installation of the HLS is done in a few simple steps: The LED set is inserted into the jacket or vest through the open zipper in the back compartment. Then the ends of the white light guides are inserted into the respective openings in the chest area of the garment from the inside and pushed completely through the mesh fabric tube. In the same way, the red light guides are threaded into the back area of the jacket or vest.
- After all four LED modules are placed in their designated locations, the USB cable is threaded through the cable grommet of the jacket or safety vest. Now the system is ready for use and can be switched on at any time by connecting the battery pack or switched off by disconnecting it.
