KAOKO™ Gasklepstabilisatoren - Hoe het werkt

Een gashendelstabilisator is een gashendelbedieningsmechanisme waarmee de berijder zijn gashendel kan vastzetten op een gewenste opening of stand.

De KAOKO™ Gasklep Stabilisator Kit bestaat uit een eenvoudige, ingenieuze en robuust ontworpen frictiemoer die geïntegreerd is met een speciaal KAOKO™ stuur eindgewicht. De KAOKO & Trade; bar eind gewicht is nauw afgestemd in uiterlijk en gewicht aan de Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) bar eind gewicht. De meeste installaties vereisen slechts de verwijdering van de OEM bar eind gewicht en de montage van de KAOKO & Trade; Throttle Stabilizer kit in de plaats.

Inschakelen

Terwijl u over de gashendel rolt, kunt u de frictiemoer vastpakken tussen uw pink en handpalm. Hierdoor wordt de moer aangedraaid en ontstaat voldoende wrijving om de gashendel op de gewenste stand te zetten. (De wrijving is zodanig dat de bestuurder de gashendel nog steeds kan openen en sluiten. Er is alleen een lichte draaiweerstand.)

Om los te koppelen

Terwijl u de gashendel loslaat, neemt u de wrijvingsmoer vast tussen uw pink en uw handpalm. De gashendel moet vrij openen en dichtklikken wanneer hij correct is ontkoppeld.

Hoe kan een KAOKO™ voordeel bieden aan rijders met een Super-, Tourer- of Cruiser motor?

Wanneer je op de openbare weg rijdt, vooral op langere ritten, kan het erg lastig zijn om je gashendel voor langere tijd open te houden. De KAOKO™ gashendel stabilisator biedt de luxe om je gashendel op zijn plaats te houden, zodat je hand en pols te allen tijde comfortabel aanvoelen – zelfs als je je hand van de gashendel kunt halen.

Hoe kan een KAOKO™ voordeel bieden aan rijders met adventure bikes?

Off-road rijden op hobbelige wegen kan er vaak toe leiden dat je je gashendel moet dichtknijpen om je gas onder controle te houden, wat je polsen kan belasten – dit is waar een KAOKO™ gashendel stabilisator een groot verschil kan maken in het rijcomfort door het toevoegen van wrijving & rotatieweerstand aan de gashendel – waardoor off-road rijden veel makkelijker en comfortabeler wordt.

KAOKO™ Throttle Stabilizers - How it works

A throttle stabilizer is a throttle controlling mechanism that enables the rider to secure their throttle to a desired opening or setting.

The KAOKO™ Throttle Stabilizer Kit consists of a simple, ingenious and robustly designed friction nut that is integral with a special KAOKO™ handle bar end weight. The KAOKO™ bar end weight is closely matched in appearance and weight to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) bar end weight. Most installations simply require the removal of the OEM bar end weight and the fitting of the KAOKO™ Throttle Stabilizer kit in its place.

Operating KAOKO™ Throttle Stabilizer

To Engage

Whilst rolling on the throttle, the friction nut can be gripped between your small finger and palm of your hand. This action tightens the nut and provides sufficient friction to set the throttle to the desired opening. (The friction is such that the rider may still open and close the throttle. It simply has a slight rotational resistance to it.)

To Disengage

Whilst rolling off the throttle, grip the friction nut between your small finger and palm of your hand. The throttle should open and snap closed freely when correctly disengaged.

When riding on the open road, especially on longer trips – it can be very cumbersome to keep your throttle open for extended periods of time. The KAOKO™ throttle stabilizer offers the luxury of keeping your throttle in place so that your hand and wrist can feel comfortable at all times – even allowing you to take your hand off the throttle.

How can a KAOKO™ benefit riders with adventure bikes?

Off-road riding on bumpy roads can often cause you to clench your throttle to maintain throttle control, potentially causing wrist strain – this is where a KAOKO™ throttle stabilizer can make a big difference in riding comfort by adding friction & rotational resistance to the throttle – thus making off-road riding much easier and more comfortable.
