Ikasu Air is a certified and breathable motorcycle shoe perfect for use in mild temperatures. It offers the casual look and comfort of a sneaker and is ideal for everyday use.
The reinforcing D30® inserts on the ankles, the protectors on the toe and heel and the strap protection in rubber guarantee maximum protection. The highly breathable Ortholite® insole with durable cushioning gives the shoe a high level of comfort.
Maximum protection is guaranteed by the special Zplate® insert in molded polymer that, thanks to its Z-shape, combines transverse stiffness for maximum safety and longitudinal flexibility. Zplate® allows the shoe to follow all the natural movements of the foot both in the saddle and when walking. At the same time, the technology protects against compression of the shoe in the event of an impact.
The upper is made of reflective mesh fabric with suede inserts and features side lacing. An elastic zipper at the front makes it easy to put on and take off.
The abrasion-resistant Groundtrax® sole features a textured tread pattern that ensures maximum grip on any surface.

Groundtrax® outsoles
Groundtrax® outsoles are engineered to ensure stability, grip and traction both on the footpegs and once got off the saddle. This is due to the design of lugs and grooves, as well as the choice of the rubber compound, which also maximize the wear-resistance and self-cleaning of the tread. The sole is featured by a dedicated gear shift area, to provide an higher precision during the ride.
D3O® inserts
In its raw form the D3O® molecules flow freely, thanks to their non-Newtonian nature, allowing the material to be soft and flexible. On impact, the D3O® molecules lock together, absorb and dissipate the energy from impacts, significantly reducing the amount of force that gets transmitted to the body compared to standard materials.

Eine Nummer größer passen mit die Schuhe perfekt. Die werden nach den ersten Tag tragen merklich weicher. Das an und ausziehen ist durch den Reißverschluss und seine Position ein Kinderspiel. Die Verarbeitung ist ordentlich und hochwertig. Wasserdichtigkeit habe ich noch nicht getestet, für Schuhe sind aber auf jeden Fall ziemlich winddicht und für herbstliche Temperaturen geeignet.
