Membrana GORE-TEX®

GORE-TEX® membrane
The GORE-TEX® membrane is the essential element of all GORE-TEX® garments. It contains over 1.4 billion microscopic pores per square centimeter. These pores are 20,000 times smaller than a drop of water, but 700 times larger than a water vapor molecule. This makes the GORE-TEX® membrane completely waterproof from the outside, while allowing sweat to escape from the inside. Integrated into the membrane is an oleophobic or oil-repellent substance that prevents the penetration of substances such as body oils and insect repellents that might otherwise attack the membrane.

TIZIP® waterproof front zipper

Short and long connection zipper
The long connection zipper creates a 360-degree connection between the jacket and pants, while the short connection zipper on the membrane ensures that it stays in place. These zippers prevent the jacket from riding up the back, which would otherwise be exposed to the cold riding wind or have the skin affected in a fall.
SEEFLEX™ Level 2 Protection
Certified as Level 2 under the new EN1621-1:2012 standard, the SEEFLEX™ protector is the latest innovation from REV'IT's R&D department! The new standard also tests impact values in different temperature ranges. The SEEFLEX™ protectors easily exceed the new standard without compromising comfort.
