Conceived for all motorcycle riders who love sporty road riding, Avro 5 is Dainese's motorcycle jacket inspired by the suits of MotoGP™ riders.

Made of fine Tutu cowhide, the garment boasts stretch inserts in S1 fabric and Microelastic 2.0 material, which ensure excellent fit, comfort and freedom of movement while riding.

Comfort is further enhanced by the new fast-racing collar construction, a MotoGP™ inspired system that fully reduces pressure on the neck.

To ensure maximum protection for motorcycle riders even at high speeds, Avro 5 features the same technical solutions as Dainese suits, integrating certified protectors on shoulders and elbows as well as detachable aluminum plates on the shoulders. The jacket is designed to accommodate G1 and G2 back protectors.

The perfect blend of protection and comfort, Avro 5 is extremely versatile owing to its detachable thermal lining, breathable mesh fabric and side air vents, which make it ideal for all-season use.

The adjustable waist and jacket-pants connection system, which prevents air infiltration and ensures a perfect fit for both pieces in every situation, optimizes the jacket’s comfort and ergonomic levels.

Tutu leather

Tutu leather is a cowhide leather developed for a high level of performance in terms of abrasion, tear, cut and tensile strength. Selected raw materials of the highest quality guarantee maximum comfort and ensure the best performance even in extreme conditions thanks to their water and oil repellent features.

Microfiber

Microfiber is a non-woven fabric made of polyurethane and polyamide, characterized by its exceptional resistance to wear, tear and shear. Other positive features of this particular product are its softness, flexibility, light weight and water repellency.

3D Bubble Fabric

This special three-dimensional fabric, developed and tested according to the requirements of racers like Valentino Rossi, is able to create an air chamber between the inside and the outside of the garment; this chamber forms an insulating layer that maintains an ideal microclimate both in summer and winter.

Co-injected shoulder with metal insert

The co-injected shoulder with metal insert is one of the most revolutionary innovations developed for Dainese garments. The result is a fully protective, certified protector that takes up very little space on the garment and provides maximum comfort to the wearer.

The typical removable composite protector has been replaced with an injection of plastic material over a polyurethane coated mesh. In addition, a pocket for inserting the metal plate, fixed by rivets on the inside, has been created inside this structure.

Micro-Elastic

This patented technology from Dainese takes safety and comfort to a new level: it consists of a large leather element held elastic by bellows that expands vertically in two directions (width and length), giving the wearer greater freedom of movement in the kidney area (when bending over the fuel tank) and on the torso and arms.

S1 fabric

The S1 fabric is designed for improved comfort and to facilitate ventilation of the garment. The fabric is made of elastomer with Cordura polyamide coating, providing unsurpassed mechanical strength, great elasticity and superior comfort. The use of nanotechnology provides optimal water and oil repellent features.

Veloce Racing neck

Soft V-neck designed for maximum ergonomics and comfort. Shape and design allow to reduce pressure on the sides of the neck and throat, while increasing freedom of movement when assuming a racing position on the motorcycle. The use of high quality soft materials increases comfort, preventing leather garments from sticking to the skin and creating friction.
