GERMATEX® Z-Liner

GERMATEX® Z-Liner is a waterproof and breathable membrane that is frequently used in outdoor and motorcycle clothing. This technology uses a Z-Liner construction in which the membrane is incorporated directly into the lining of the garment without affecting the outer layer. This maintains the flexibility of the garment while protecting the wearer from rain and wind. The membrane allows for high breathability, so moisture is wicked away from the body while it simultaneously prevents the penetration of water. GERMATEX® Z-Liner provides comfortable protection in a variety of weather conditions.

Tactel®

Tactel® fiber is well known in the textile industry worldwide and valued for its wide range of advantages. Garments made from the dynamic special fiber Tactel® are soft, pleasantly smooth, breathable and light. Rigorous testing has shown that Tactel® fibers are at least twice as soft and 20% lighter than most other fibers. The inherent strength of Tactel® fibers makes it possible to produce textiles that are three times stronger than those made with natural fibers.

Cordura®

Cordura® is a highly durable textile used in motorcycle clothing to provide protection and durability. The material consists of specially developed polyamide fibers, which are given a special weaving technique and sometimes additional coatings. It is particularly abrasion resistant, tear resistant and can withstand the stresses that can occur in a fall.

In motorcycle clothing, Cordura is often used in combination with other materials to reinforce particularly vulnerable areas such as elbows, shoulders and knees. The different variants, such as 500D or 1000D, provide information about the material thickness and the protective effect. Cordura also offers high weather resistance and is often treated to be water repellent or waterproof, making it ideal for challenging riding conditions.
