Past meets future

With the Redridge GTX boots, REV'IT had implementing more technical influences to offer something newer in terms of archetypal derivatives. REV'IT had taken the utilitarian military boot silhouette and materialized it with suede leather, waterproofing, and given it a Vibram® Hype outsole. Thanks to the integration of the EVA dual density rubber midsole combination, the Redridge GTX boots are both lightweight and flexible but still casual enough that riders can easily walk in them, whether that’s a stop at a café or to run errands. Whether riding or walking, you still have your protective and comfort features in both scenarios.

Using the old to make things new

The Heritage collection draws inspiration from what has come before, and REV'IT tried to take that to heart in all aspects. REV'IT's longstanding partnership with Vibram® allowed them to create a recycled sole for Redridge GTX boots, taking what has gone before and integrating it in a new way. Furthermore, REV'IT also used recycled materials for the OrthoLite® insole.

GORE-TEX® Membrane

The GORE-TEX® membrane is the key element in all GORE-TEX® garments. It contains over 1.4 billion microscopic pores per square centimeter. These pores are 20,000 times smaller than a drop of water, but 700 times larger than a water vapor molecule. This makes the GORE-TEX® membrane completely waterproof from the outside, while allowing perspiration to escape from the inside. An oleophobic or oil-repellent substance is integrated into the membrane to prevent the penetration of substances such as body oils and insect repellents that could otherwise attack the membrane.

Vibram® Apex sole

The combined expertise of Italian company Vibram® and the in-house developers at REV'IT! has given birth to the revolutionary Vibram® Apex sole. This sole was specifically designed for the adventure of motorcycling, but with the comfort of a trekking shoe. Its profile features a pronounced area for traction, one for braking, and one for stability. The surface of the sole is slightly larger and offers more comfort when walking. The sturdy material and construction ensure that the sole lasts a long time.

OrthoLite® X40™ insole

The OrthoLite® insole is used in REV'IT! shoes and boots. It is characterized by high rebound and resilience, long-term shock absorption and comfort, and low weight.

Suede is a type of leather with a rough finish. Due to its nature and open pores, suede can quickly absorb liquids.
