V.F.S. (Vertebra Flex System)

Trois coulisseaux en titane

Nous avons opté pour ce matériau particulier pour ces zones pour des raisons très spécifiques : 1) sur la zone externe des orteils, le titane provoque moins de frottements et est moins sujet à l'usure ; 2) l'insert latéral offre une meilleure protection en cas d'accident ; 3) la calotte du talon garantit une meilleure protection et cache également en dessous un insert absorbant les chocs qui aide à redistribuer la force de l'impact sur l'ensemble de la botte au lieu d'un seul point, réduisant ainsi les dégâts.

V.F.S. (Vertebra Flex System)
One of the innovations of this model is the Vertebra Flex System (VFS) on the back. Flexing is encouraged and controlled by the VFS: it has a double pivot system integrated in it, and it allows the boot to move in four different directions. You can find two pivot points on the ankle area and another two on the back of the calf. The system is designed to give the rider the maximum protection and to avoid unusual torsions in case of accident.
Specific Double Density Rubber Sole
The innovative double-density rubber sole provides greater abrasion resistance while increasing grip with the bike. It is specifically designed to meet the new and more aggressive styles of driving that involve placing the foot on the asphalt when braking/turning.
Three Titanium Sliders
The new sliders, heel protection and lateral insert are made of titanium, the most resistant and light material possible. We decided on this particular material for these areas for very specific reasons: 1) on the external toe area, titanium causes less friction and is less prone to wear and tear; 2) the lateral insert provides better protection in case of accident; 3) the heel cap guarantees better protection and also hides below a shock absorbing insert that helps to redistribute the strength of the impact on the entire boot instead of just one point, thus reducing the damage.
Soft and shock absorbing front material
The use of ergonomically shaped and shock absorbing PU material on the front panel offers increased safety and comfort. The PU coating makes the panel highly resistant to abrasion.
I.F.S. (Internal Fastening System)
The feet are kept in place by the internal fastening system which also provide improved comfort and stability due to the double foam padding of the sock-like interior. The system also features a special padding around the heel area which help provide more grip and avoid the feeling of slipping feet.
