Koolstofvezel beugelsysteem
Het eerste wat opvalt is dat de Mag-1 geen visueel brace systeem heeft. Sidi heeft een koolstofvezel brace geïntegreerd in de schoen zelf. Deze brace zorgt voor een uitstekende flex van voor naar achter en is tegelijkertijd stevig van zijkant naar zijkant. De achterkant is voorzien van zacht rood TPU-plastic om te voorkomen dat het systeem in je kuit drukt.
Tecno-3 Magnetisch sluitsysteem
Het nieuw gemonteerde sluitsysteem "Tecno-3 Magnetic" zorgt ervoor dat de laars perfect past door de precieze afstelling. Het is snel en gemakkelijk te gebruiken dankzij de magnetische sluiting, waardoor je de laars met één hand kunt sluiten. De magneten blijven op de laars zitten om de sluiting op zijn plaats te houden. De laars vouwt samen, waardoor een rits overbodig is.
A-Symmetrische enkels en een ritsloze sluiting
De enkels van de laars zijn glad en plat aan de binnenkant voor meer grip op de fiets en hebben een vervangbaar schokabsorberend systeem aan de achterkant en buitenkant. De laars is gemaakt van synthetisch leer en is driedubbel gestikt op de plekken waar de meeste druk op komt te staan. De boog en achilles zijn bedekt met Sidi’s exclusieve elastische textiel en injectie gegoten polyurethaan comfort panelen

De binnenvoering heeft een membraan van teflon en nylon dat rond de kuit en enkels wordt gevouwen. Het onderste deel van de laars heeft een Cambrelle voering. De teenschuiver is gemaakt van nylon versterkt met glasvezel en heeft een luchtinlaat en een legering inzetstuk. De kuit van de Mag-1 is geschikt voor rijders met een kuitdiameter tot 35 cm, gemeten op 25 cm vanaf de onderkant van de hiel.

Carbon Fiber Brace system
First things of notice is that the Mag-1 has no visual brace system. Sidi Integrated a carbon-fiber brace in the boot itself. This brace allows excellent flex movement front-to-back while being firm side-to-side. The rear-upper features a soft red TPU-plastic to prevent the system pushing in your calf.
Tecno-3 Magnetic closure system
The newly fitted closure system called "Tecno-3 Magnetic" makes sure the boot will perfectly fit by its precise adjusting. It is quick and easy to use due to the magnetic closure, helping you close the boot with one hand only. The magnets will stick on the boot in order to keep the closure in place. The boot folds together, which makes a zipper superfluous.
A-Symmetric ankles and a zipless closure
The ankles of the boot are smooth and flat inside for more adherence with the bike and feature a replaceable shock absorbing system in the back and outside. The boot is made of synthetic leather and is triple-stitched on the high-stress areas. The arch and Achilles areas are covered with Sidi’s exclusive elastic textile and injection molded polyurethane comfort panels
The Calf of the Mag-1 can accommodate riders with up to an 35 cm calf diameter
The inner lining features a membrane made from Teflon and nylon which folds around the calf and ankles. The lower part of the boot has a Cambrelle lining. The Toe slider is made from nylon reinforced with fiberglass and features an air intake and alloy insert. The Calf of the Mag-1 can accommodate riders with up to an 35 cm calf diameter when measured 25 cm up from the bottom of the heel.
