TCX schoenen met ZPLATE® in de tussenzool beschermen tegen stoten en beknelling dankzij hun laterale stijfheid. D3O®
De beschermende D3O® inzetstukken in TCX urban motorfietsschoenen bieden een ideale balans tussen veiligheid, comfort en ergonomie. D3O® is een gepatenteerd materiaal dat zacht en flexibel is, maar verstijft bij impact. In zijn oorspronkelijke vorm stromen de D3O® moleculen vrij door hun niet-Newtoniaanse aard, waardoor het materiaal zacht en flexibel is. Bij een botsing verbinden de D3O® moleculen zich en absorberen en verdrijven ze de botsenergie, waardoor de kracht die op het lichaam wordt overgebracht aanzienlijk wordt verminderd in vergelijking met standaard materialen.
