Endless Evolution

SCHUBERTH's nalatenschap in het segment van de flip-up helmen begon meer dan 20 jaar geleden met de CONCEPT, de allereerste SCHUBERTH flip-up helm. Sindsdien heeft SCHUBERTH een "ENDLESS EVOLUTION" proces gevolgd dat het mogelijk heeft gemaakt om de maatstaven meermaals te herdefiniëren. Deze benchmarks resulteren in een lichtgewicht en toch veilige helm met een schaalontwerp dat moderner en agressiever is, maar toch stiller.

Uitstekende aero-akoestische prestaties

Sinds de eerste CONCEPT-helm zijn uitstekende aero-akoestische prestaties een van de uitstekende elementen van alle SCHUBERTH flip-up helmen. Tijdens de ontwikkeling van de C5 hebben onze technici meer dan 200 uur in de SCHUBERTH windtunnel doorgebracht om het ontwerp van de helmschaal te optimaliseren. Deze tests, in combinatie met een nieuw nekkussen concept, zorgen voor een perfecte afdichting aan de onderkant van de helmschaal, waardoor de C5 het opmerkelijke resultaat van 85 dB(A) bij 100 km/u op een naked bike kan bereiken.

Nieuw ventilatiesysteem

Het ventilatiesysteem maakt de C5 tot een pionier in de categorie flip-up helmen. Optimale thermoregulatie op het hoofd maximaliseert de prestaties en het comfort van de rijder. Daarom is de C5 ontworpen voor ultieme ventilatie met de dubbele kinluchtinlaat met vervangbaar filter, gecombineerd met een nieuwe achterspoiler met luchtuitlaat en onbedekte EPS-ventilatiekanalen.

Nieuwe kinventilatie

De SCHUBERTH C5 is voorzien van een dubbele kinontluchting met een afwasbaar en vervangbaar filter om ook in extreme omstandigheden goed te kunnen ademen. Het gebruiksvriendelijke schuifmechanisme maakt een variabele regeling van de ventilatie mogelijk.

Schubert individualiseringsconcept

De SCHUBERTH C5 zet een nieuwe standaard in comfort. Het standaard hoofdkussen werd ontwikkeld om al onze klanten een compromisloos comfort te bieden, en ook voor "extreme hoofdvormen" werd een oplossing ontwikkeld in de vorm van het "SCHUBERTH INDIVIDUAL CONCEPT" waarmee via verwisselbare hoofdkussens zelfs voor extreem ronde of ovale hoofdvormen een perfecte pasvorm kan worden bereikt. (Hoofdbeschermers zijn verkrijgbaar voor de maten M/L/XL).

Veiligheid voorop

Bij SCHUBERTH staat veiligheid voorop. Met de C5 presenteert SCHUBERTH zijn eerste helm met P/J en ECE-R 22.06 homologatie. Dit omvat een nieuwe glasvezel schaal met gepatenteerde Direct Fiber technologie, versterkt met carbon om de schokabsorptie te verbeteren en het gewicht te verminderen. Net als de gehele SCHUBERTH collectie, profiteert de C5 van het Anti-Roll-Off systeem, dat in combinatie met een nieuwe positionering van de kinband zorgt voor een verbeterd comfort in het nekgedeelte.

Communicatiesysteem

De meest geavanceerde technologie voor uw SCHUBERTH C5. Uiterst eenvoudig te installeren, te configureren en te gebruiken, de SC2 zet een nieuwe standaard in motorfiets communicatie. De benodigde hardware is al voorgeïnstalleerd in de SCHUBERTH C5 en omvat de nieuwe HD-luidsprekers, drie antennes voor Bluetooth-intercom, mesh-intercom en FM-radio. De SC2 is zeer eenvoudig te installeren: sluit de HD BOOM microfoon aan, verwijder de afdekking aan de achterkant en zijkant van de helm, steek de afstandsbediening in de daarvoor bestemde aansluiting, installeer de hoofdeenheid aan de achterkant en u'bent klaar voor vertrek.

Mesh 2.0

Dankzij de nieuwe Mesh 2.0 technologie biedt het SCHUBERTH SC2 communicatiesysteem een ongekend niveau van intercom connectiviteit en herdefinieert "communicatienetwerk".

Daardoor is het nu mogelijk om verbinding te maken met een vrijwel onbeperkt aantal deelnemers. Bovendien is ons nieuwe systeem voorzien van HD-luidsprekers, Sena's nieuwste microfoon, Advanced Noise Control, Digital Assistant en een bereik vergelijkbaar met de krachtigste producten op de markt.

Het geluid van stilte

De SCHUBERTH C5 bevestigt zijn leiderschap in aero-akoestisch comfort met een geluidsdrukniveau van slechts 85 dB(A) bij 100 km/u op een naked bike. Dankzij de eigen windtunnel is SCHUBERTH erin geslaagd elk onderdeel te optimaliseren op het gebied van aero-akoestisch comfort, zowel binnen als buiten de helm. Het resultaat is een ongeëvenaard geluidsniveau.

Viziergeheugenfunctie

Het zijn altijd de kleine details die het verschil maken tussen een gewone helm en een SCHUBERTH-helm. De geheugenfunctie die voor het eerst op het E1-vizier werd geïntroduceerd, is nu ook beschikbaar op het C5-vizier. Met deze functie blijft de laatst ingestelde positie bij het sluiten van het kinstuk exact behouden, ook na het openen en sluiten van het kinstuk.

Endless Evolution

SCHUBERTH's legacy in the flip-up helmet segment began more than 20 years ago with the CONCEPT, the very first SCHUBERTH flip-up helmet. Since then, SCHUBERTH has followed an "ENDLESS EVOLUTION" process that has made it possible to redefine benchmark standards several times over. These benchmarks result in a lightweight yet safe helmet with a shell design that is more modern and aggressive, yet quieter.

Outstanding Aero-Acoustic Performance

Since the first CONCEPT helmet, outstanding aero-acoustic performance has been one of the outstanding elements of all SCHUBERTH flip-up helmets. During the development of the C5, our technicians spent more than 200 hours in the SCHUBERTH wind tunnel to optimize the design of the helmet shell. These tests, in conjunction with a new neck pad concept, ensure a perfect seal at the bottom of the helmet shell, allowing the C5 to achieve the remarkable result of 85 dB(A) at 100 km/h on a naked bike.

New ventilation system

The ventilation system makes the C5 a pioneer in the flip-up helmet category. Optimal thermoregulation on the head maximizes the performance and comfort of the rider. For this reason, the C5 is designed to provide the ultimate ventilation with the dual chin air intake with replaceable filter, combined with a new rear spoiler with air outlet and uncovered EPS ventilation channels.

New chin ventilation

The SCHUBERTH C5 features a dual chin vent equipped with a washable and replaceable filter to ensure good breathing even in extreme conditions. The easy-to-use sliding mechanism allows variable control of ventilation.

Schubert individualization concept

The SCHUBERTH C5 sets new standards in comfort. The standard head pad was developed to offer all our customers uncompromising comfort, and a solution was also developed for "extreme head shapes" in the form of the "SCHUBERTH INDIVIDUAL CONCEPT", with which a perfect fit can be achieved even for extremely round or oval head shapes via interchangeable head pads. (Head pad fitting available for sizes M/L/XL).

Safety First

At SCHUBERTH, safety comes first. With the C5, SCHUBERTH presents its first helmet with P/J and ECE-R 22.06 homologation. This includes a new fiberglass shell with patented Direct Fiber technology, reinforced with carbon to improve shock absorption and reduce weight. Like the entire SCHUBERTH collection, the C5 benefits from the Anti-Roll-Off system, which, combined with a new positioning of the chin strap, provides improved comfort in the neck area.

Communication system

The most advanced technology for your SCHUBERTH C5. Extremely easy to install, configure and use, the SC2 sets a new standard in motorcycle communications. The necessary hardware is already pre-installed in the SCHUBERTH C5 and includes the new HD speakers, three antennas for Bluetooth intercom, mesh intercom and FM radio. The SC2 is very easy to install: plug in the HD BOOM microphone, remove the cover on the back and side of the helmet, insert the remote control into the appropriate receptacle, install the main unit on the back and you're ready to go.

Mesh 2.0

Thanks to the new Mesh 2.0 technology, the SCHUBERTH SC2 communication system offers an unprecedented level of intercom connectivity, redefining "communication network".

As a result, it is now possible to connect to a virtually unlimited number of subscribers. In addition, our new system features HD speakers as well as Sena's latest microphone, Advanced Noise Control, Digital Assistant and a range comparable to the most powerful products on the market.

The sound of silence

The SCHUBERTH C5 confirms its leadership in aero-acoustic comfort with a sound pressure level of only 85 dB(A) at 100 km/h on a naked bike. Thanks to its in-house wind tunnel, SCHUBERTH has been able to optimize every single component in terms of aeroacoustic comfort, both inside and outside the helmet. The result is an unparalleled noise level.

Visor memory function

It is always the small details that make the difference between an ordinary helmet and a SCHUBERTH helmet. The memory function first introduced on the E1 visor is now also available on the C5 visor. With this function, the last set position is retained exactly when the chin section is closed, even after opening and closing the chin section.
