Tech mode in de praktijk
Het Saros jack met capuchon is meer bedoeld als echte streetwear dan als persoonlijke beschermingsmiddelen. De 3L softshell draagt bij aan deze dynamiek. Toch is het jack helemaal klaar om de weg op te gaan dankzij de SEESMART elleboog- en schouderbescherming aan de binnenkant en de AA-classificatie. Hoewel de jas zelf winddicht is - niet waterdicht – helpt het binnenmembraan wel om te voorkomen dat er water naar binnen kan komen.
Drie manieren om je stijl uit te drukken
Elk Saros-jack heeft dezelfde veiligheidsfuncties, maar een andere look. En in plaats van alleen de kleuren te veranderen, biedt Revit ze aan in drie verschillende prints. Reguliere pasvorm

Geschikt voor TECH-AIR® airbagsysteem - één maat groter
Als je een kledingstuk wil dragen met het label "Ready for Avertum Tech-Air®️ airbag system", moet je zeker zijn dat het kledingstuk de uitzetting van de airbag kan opvangen. Wij raden u daarom aan de onderstaande pasvormgids te volgen:
- meet de borstomtrek en deel de waarde door twee
- meet het kledingstuk plat op de borstlijn
- als het verschil tussen punt 1 en punt 2 twaalf centimeter of meer is, is het kledingstuk geschikt om over de airbag te dragen.
Noot: Zorg ervoor dat je het kledingstuk in de juiste maat koopt, zodat de schouder- en elleboogbeschermers goed passen en optimale bescherming bieden bij een ongeval. Om ruimte te creëren voor de airbag om uit te zetten, kunt u alle aparte lagen verwijderen (thermische voering, waterdichte voering) die de uitzetting van de airbag kunnen beperken bij een val. Verwijder de aparte rugbeschermer in uw jas, indien aanwezig, wanneer u de airbag draagt (een rugbeschermer is inbegrepen in de airbag) en stel alle verstelbanden op het lichaam in op de breedste stand.
Knopbevestiging voor capuchon
Dankzij de knoopbevestiging blijft de capuchon op zijn plaats tijdens de rit en wordt voorkomen dat de wind de binnenkant van de capuchon bereikt.
Jeans lus
Met de lus aan de achterkant van dit jack kun je het aan je spijkerbroek vastmaken, zodat het jack niet omhoog kruipt: geen blootgestelde rug meer tijdens het fietsen.
Gebreide manchet
De gebreide manchetten houden de wind tegen zodat je warm en comfortabel blijft.
WindBarrier®
Het REV’IT! WindBarrier® membraan is gelamineerd tussen twee aparte lagen stof: een rekbare buitenlaag en een zachte fleece binnenlaag. Deze combinatie houdt wind tegen en helpt water af te stoten. Het tegenhouden van wind en regen helpt onderkoeling te voorkomen en verbetert het comfort en de warmte van de rijder.

The hooded Saros jacket is meant to look more like veritable streetwear rather than personal protective equipment. The 3L softshell contributes to this dynamic. That said, it’s totally ready to take on the road thanks to the inclusion of inner SEESMART elbow and shoulder protection, along with a AA classification. While the jacket itself is windproof - not waterproof – the inner membrane does help to prevent water pickup.

Regular fit
The Regular fit is designed for comfortable wear, and it’s tailored to suit different body shapes and sizes. However, it is not considered loose. It falls around the body instead of conforming to the rider's physique.
Prepared for TECH-AIR® airbag system - One Size Bigger
If you want to wear a garment that is labeled "Ready for Avertum Tech-Air®️ airbag system", you must be sure that the garment can absorb the expansion of the airbag. We therefore recommend that you follow the fit guide below:
- measure the chest circumference and divide the value by two
- measure the garment flat on the chest line
- if the difference between point 1 and point 2 is twelve centimeters or more, the garment is suitable for wearing over the airbag.
Note: Please ensure that you buy the garment in the correct size so that the shoulder and elbow protectors fit correctly and provide optimum protection in the event of an accident. To create space for the airbag to expand, you can remove any separate layers (thermal lining, waterproof lining) that may restrict the expansion of the airbag in the event of a fall. Remove the separate back protector in your jacket, if present, when you are wearing the airbag (a back protector is included in the airbag) and adjust all the adjustment straps on the body to the widest position.
Button fixation for hood
Thanks to the Button fixation, the hood stays in place during the ride, preventing the wind from reaching the inside of the hood.
Jeans loop
The loop at the back of this jacket enables you to attach it to your jeans, which prevents the jacket from creeping up: no more exposed back when riding your bike.
Knitted cuff
The knitted cuffs block wind to keep you warm and comfortable.
WindBarrier®
The REV’IT! WindBarrier® membrane is laminated between two separate layers of fabric: a stretchable outer layer, and a soft fleece inner layer. This combination blocks against wind and helps repel water. Stopping the wind and rain helps prevent hypothermia, and improves a rider’s level of comfort and warmth.

Laminated reflection
Reflection panels ensure excellent visibility at all angles, allowing the wearer to be seen from all directions. To offer a more sophisticated look, the reflection panels are welded to the fabric. This welding process also eliminates stitching seams, making the garments safer.
