Macna Empire 2.0 Night Eye, waterdicht textieljack

Een mesh jack met een uitneembare voering, verder ontwikkeld voor urban riders in warme omstandigheden.
De Empire 2.0 is verder ontwikkeld voor warme rijomstandigheden met veel 3D-mesh stof om te zorgen voor voldoende luchtstroom langs je lichaam – impact gebieden zoals ellebogen en schouders zijn de uitzondering.
Het is voorzien van een uitneembaar Raintex ML membraan dat comfortabel op de huid aanvoelt omdat het is gelamineerd tegen comfortabele meshstof. Dit voorkomt dat het membraan aan je huid plakt als je met korte mouwen of mouwloze kleding eronder rijdt.
Het membraan is verbonden via Macna's Easy Cuff™ systeem; een ritsoplossing die voorkomt dat losse, zwevende lagen in je jas zitten en dat je handen vast komen te zitten als je je jas aantrekt.
Om te voorkomen dat je jas omhoog kruipt in geval van een incident, heeft Macne de Belt Loop™ aangebracht; een sterk stuk webbing waarmee je je jas gemakkelijk aan je riem kunt vastmaken.
Aan de onderkant van de hoofdrits vind je Macna's Zip Grip™, een driehoekige versteviging die het insteken en dichtritsen een stuk makkelijker maakt – zelfs met handschoenen aan!
De drukknoppen op de bovenarmen vereisen slechts twee vingers om te gebruiken, waardoor ze gemakkelijk te verstellen zijn. Quixnaps™ noemt Macna deze ‘quick-snaps’.
Macna's RISC™ Level 1 impact protectors zijn aanwezig bij de schouders en ellebogen. RISC™ rug- en borstbeschermers zijn apart verkrijgbaar en kunnen eenvoudig in het daarvoor bestemde vak worden geplaatst. Controleer de maattabel voordat je een rugbeschermer aanschaft.
Aanvullend is deze jas voorbereid voor Macna's MUPBP-1 P.A.L.S.-basisplaat. Dit accessoire kan worden bevestigd aan de onderrug van de jas om de bagagecapaciteit uit te breiden. Raintex ML
De nieuwste toevoeging aan de waterdichte membraancollectie van Macna&rsquo is Raintex ML, dat voorkomt dat regenwater binnendringt, maar dampdruppels wel doorlaat. Deze membranen houden je vrij van zweet en regenwater en zijn comfortabeler dan een gewoon Raintex-membraan.
ML staat voor ‘mesh laminated’ wat betekent dat het waterdichte membraan direct tegen een laag fijne meshstof is gelamineerd. Deze stof is comfortabel op de huid omdat het niet plakt als je er met een T-shirt onder rijdt, in tegenstelling tot traditionele membraanvarianten.
Deze membranen zijn op verschillende manieren verwerkt in de waterdichte kleding van Macna&rsquo. Sommige hebben een vast membraan en andere zijn voorzien van een afneembaar membraan. Er zijn ook jassen met een waterdichte voering, wat betekent dat het waterdichte membraan en de thermische voering worden gecombineerd tot één enkele laag.
Air Burst™
Vroeger moest je je hoofdrits openen om af te koelen. Gelukkig zijn die tijden voorbij, want de kleding van Macna&rsquo is al jaren voorzien van ventilatieritsen, panelen en uitlaten. Maar soms waren al die opties nog steeds niet genoeg.
Daarom heeft Macna de mesh-stof naar een hoger niveau getild, of eigenlijk naar een andere dimensie. De driedimensionale mesh-stof van Air Burst™ creëert een ademende laag tussen het lichaam en de buitenkant van de shell, waardoor koele lucht beter wordt opgenomen om het lichaam te koelen. 3D mesh remt je ook zachtjes en aan één stuk af voordat je huid in contact komt met de weg.
Zip Grip™
Opstappen zonder handschoenen is’niet altijd een succes bij de eerste poging. Het ene deel in het andere schuiven blijkt verrassend moeilijk te zijn voor de intelligentste soort op aarde. Sommigen van ons proberen deze sport zelfs met handschoenen aan – met weinig succes in de meeste gevallen.
Macna’s Zip Grip™ is een driehoekige versteviging aan de basis van de hoofdrits. Deze versteviging is gemakkelijk vast te pakken en biedt de nodige grip bij het insteken. Het dichtritsen is nu kinderspel, zelfs met handschoenen aan!
Quixnap™
Snaps, studs, knopen; ze zijn aanwezig in motorkleding in allerlei vormen, maten en kleuren. Ook al zijn er talloze verschillen tussen al deze kledingstukken, één ding hebben ze gemeen: je hebt twee handen nodig om ze te sluiten.
Quixnap™ is de nieuwste en meest gebruiksvriendelijke snap op de markt. Het is gemakkelijk te gebruiken voor iedereen met minimaal twee vingers, die zich zelfs op dezelfde hand kunnen bevinden. Meer is het niet!
Easy Cuff™
Lussen en drukknopen die de afzonderlijke lagen van een jas of broek netjes met elkaar moeten verbinden. We weten allemaal hoe goed dat werkt; het werkt niet. De kans dat je horloge of voet vast komt te zitten is tien keer groter dan dat je het kledingstuk zonder problemen aantrekt.
Maak dit probleem verleden tijd met Macna’s Easy Cuff™ een ritsconstructie bij de manchet die de lagen vasthoudt en zorgt voor een mooie, nette mouw. De rits bevindt zich aan de buitenkant van de manchet, waardoor hij gemakkelijk bereikbaar is wanneer dat nodig is.
P.A.L.S.
Zelfs vandaag de dag is er niet veel keuze als het gaat om draagbare bagage voor motorrijders. Dat is waar Macna’s utility-style uitrusting om de hoek komt kijken.
De kledingstukken en accessoires in dit nieuwe segment zijn voorzien van P.A.L.S. webbing of zijn voorbereid voor Mana’s P.A.L.S. baseplate. Hierdoor kunnen hun utility bags en pouches worden bevestigd om de bagagecapaciteit uit te breiden.

De utility P.A.L.S. basisplaat kan worden bevestigd op geprepareerde jassen en maakt het mogelijk M.O.L.L.E uitrusting – zoals de tassen hieronder – te plaatsen om de bagagecapaciteit uit te breiden.
Gordellus™
Het dragen van een spijkerbroek op een sport- of naked bike kan een beetje frisjes worden als je jas besluit je te besluipen. Koud hebben is één ding, gewond raken is iets anders. Bij een incident kun je op je rug terechtkomen zonder dat je jas dit bedekt.
Verhoog je comfort en veiligheid met Macna’s Belt Loop™. Hij is gemaakt van sterk webbing dat bovenaan de rug wordt vastgemaakt en helemaal naar beneden door je jas loopt, waar je hem aan je riem kunt vastmaken. De Belt Loop™ houdt je jas op zijn plaats, voorkomt een koude rug en verhoogt je veiligheid in geval van een incident.
R.I.S.C.™ Beschermers
Een kledingstuk kan worden voorzien van Level 1 of Level 2 protectoren, afhankelijk van het segment waar je voor gaat. Beschermers van niveau 2 zijn dikker en zwaarder dan beschermers van niveau 1, maar ze bieden wel een betere bescherming. Beide niveaus van RISC-beschermers zijn onderling verwisselbaar en los verkrijgbaar, dus je kunt gemakkelijk naar beneden of naar boven schalen als je dat wilt.
R.I.S.C.™ Rugbeschermer
Borst- en rugbeschermers vind je niet in de kleding van Macna – met uitzondering van beschermende jassen zoals de Korus en Whizzar – maar ze zijn apart verkrijgbaar als je extra bescherming wilt. Zorg ervoor dat je de maattabel bekijkt als je overweegt een Level 2 rugbeschermer aan te schaffen.
R.I.S.C.™ Borstbeschermer

A mesh jacket with a detachable liner, further developed for urban riders in warm conditions.
The Empire 2.0 is further developed for warm riding conditions with a ton of 3D-mesh fabric to ensure enough airflow past your body – impact areas like elbows and shoulders being the exception.
It is fitted with a detachable Raintex ML membrane which is comfortable on the skin as it’s laminated against comfy mesh fabric. This prevents the membrane from sticking to your skin when riding with short sleeves or sleeveless gear underneath.
The membrane is connected through Macna's Easy Cuff™ system; a zip solution that prevents loose, floating layers inside your jacket and your hands from getting stuck when putting your jacket on.
To prevent your jacket from creeping up in case of an incident, Macne fitted the Belt Loop™; a strong piece of webbing that enables easy connection between your jacket and belt.
At the bottom of the main zip you’ll find Macna's Zip Grip™, a triangular reinforcement that makes inserting and zipping up a lot easier – even with gloves on!
The push buttons at the upper arms require only two fingers to use, making them easy to adjust. Quixnaps™ is what Macna calls these ‘quick-snaps’.
Macna's RISC™ Level 1 impact protectors are present at the shoulders and elbows. RISC™ back and chest protectors are separately available and can easily be placed in the designated compartment. Be sure to check the size table before purchasing a back protector.

Raintex ML
The latest addition to Macna’s waterproof membrane collection is Raintex ML, which prevents rainwater from penetrating whilst enabling vapor drops to make their way through. These membranes keep you free from both sweat and rainwater, and are more comfortable than a regular Raintex membrane.
ML stands for ‘mesh laminated’, which means the waterproof membrane is laminated directly against a layer of fine mesh fabric. This fabric is comfortable on the skin as it doesn’t get sticky when riding with a t-shirt underneath, opposed to traditional membrane variants.
These membranes are incorporated into Macna’s waterproof garments in different ways. Some feature a fixed membrane and others are fitted with a detachable one. There are also jackets with a waterproof liner, which means the waterproof membrane and thermal liner are combined to create a single layer.
Air Burst™
Back in the day, you needed to open up your main zip if you wanted to cool down. Luckily, those days are over as Macna’s gear has been fitted with ventilation zips, panels and outlets for many years now. But sometimes, all those options still weren’t enough.
That’s why Macna evolved their mesh fabric to the next level, or actually another dimension all together. The third-dimension mesh fabric of Air Burst™ creates a breathable layer between the body and outside of the shell, which enables a better intake of cool air to cool the body. 3D mesh also slows you down gently and in one piece before your skin comes into contact with the road.
Zip Grip™
Zipping up without gloves isn’t always a success at first try. Inserting one part into another turns out to be surprisingly difficult for the most intelligent species on the planet. Some of us even try this sport with their gloves on – with little success in most cases.
Macna’s Zip Grip™ is a triangular reinforcement at the base of the main zip. This reinforcement is easy to get a hold of and provides the needed grip when inserting. Zipping up has just become child’s play, even with gloves on!
Quixnap™
Snaps, studs, buttons; they’re present in motorcycle garments in all kinds of shapes, sizes, and colours. Even though there are countless differences between all of them, there’s one thing they have in common: you need two hands to close them.
Quixnap™ is the latest and most user-friendly snap on the market. It is easy to use for anybody with a minimum of two fingers, which may even be located on the same hand. That’s all there is to it!
Easy Cuff™
Loops and snaps that are supposed to neatly connect the separate layers of a jacket or pants. We all know how well that works; it doesn’t. Chances of your watch or foot getting stuck are ten times higher than of you actually putting on the garment without issues.
Make this issue a complaint of the past with Macna’s Easy Cuff™, a zip construction at the cuff that keeps the layers fixed and ensures a nice and tidy sleeve. The zip is located at the outside of the cuff, making it easily accessible when needed.
P.A.L.S.
Even today, there’s not a lot of choice when it comes to wearable luggage options for motorcyclists. That’s where Macna’s utility-style gear comes in.
The garments and accessories in this new segment feature P.A.L.S. webbing or are prepared for Mana’s P.A.L.S. baseplate. This enables their utility bags and pouches to be attached in order to expand luggage capacity.
P.A.L.S. stands for Pouch Attachment Ladder System. The last two words refer to the webbing, which enables the first two words; attaching pouches.
P.A.L.S. MUHB-1 Hip Bag
The MUHB-1 hip bag can be fitted on Macna’s utility P.A.L.S. base plate or MUBP backpack in order to increase baggage capacity.
P.A.L.S. MUPBP-1 Base Plate
The utility P.A.L.S. base plate can be fitted onto prepared jackets and enables M.O.L.L.E gear – like the bags below – to be placed in order to expand baggage capacity.
Belt Loop™
Wearing jeans on a sports- or naked bike can get a bit chilly when your jacket decides to creep up on you. Being cold is one thing, getting hurt is another. In case of an incident, you might end up on your back without your jacket covering it.
Raise your comfort and safety with Macna’s Belt Loop™. It is made of strong webbing that is secured at the top of the back and runs all the way down your jacket, where you can connect it to your belt. The Belt Loop™ keeps your jacket in place, prevents a cold back, and raises your safety in case of an incident.
R.I.S.C.™ Protectors
A garment can be fitted with Level 1 or Level 2 protectors, depending on which segment you’re going for. Level 2 protectors are thicker and heavier than Level 1, but in turn they provide better protection. Both levels of RISC protectors are interchangeable and separately available, so you can easily scale down or up if you’d like to.
R.I.S.C.™ Back Protector
You won’t find chest and back protectors in Macna’s garments – with exception of protective jackets such as the Korus and Whizzar – but they are separately available should you fancy extra protection. Make sure to check out the size table if you’re thinking about purchasing a Level 2 back protector.
R.I.S.C.™ Chest Protector
