iXS Magnetisch Verbindingssysteem (iMC)
Interface = zwak punt
Tweedelige jassen, of ze nu van leer of textiel zijn, hebben absoluut een stabiele verbinding nodig. Dit is belangrijk om te voorkomen dat het jack bij een val omhoog glijdt, waardoor de beschermende werking verloren zou gaan. De koppeling van jas & broek helpt tijdens de rit ook bij een betere pasvorm - de jas schuift niet omhoog, de broek schuift niet omlaag. Dit voorkomt ook dat wind of zelfs vocht binnendringt en beschermt het lichaam tegen ongewenste afkoeling. Al met al betekent een goed ontworpen koppeling een grote winst aan comfort.
De iXS-ingenieurs hebben zich in detail beziggehouden met de interface tussen jack & broek en een oplossing gevonden die het verbinden van het jack met de broek nog gemakkelijker en sneller maakt: de broek kan een veilige verbinding rondom vormen met het jack door een sterke rits aan de achterkant te gebruiken om jack en broek bij elkaar te houden. Aan de voorkant verbindt het innovatieve iXS Magnetic Connection System (iMC) het jack en de broek bijna automatisch met elkaar door magnetische Fidlock snelsluitingen. Heel eenvoudig, met één vinger kan de sluiting ook weer worden losgemaakt - echt slim.
De absoluut veilige Fidlock snelsluitingen worden gecombineerd met een ingenaaid singelsysteem. Het webbing systeem in de jas loopt - vergelijkbaar met een bretel - over de schouder. In vergelijking met een conventionele verbindingsrits, die vaak slechts selectief aan de binnenvoering van het jack wordt bevestigd, is het iMC-systeem veel scheurvaster en biedt het een veelvoud aan veiligheid. Een absoluut bewuste bijkomstigheid is dat het singelsysteem ook voor extra draagcomfort zorgt. Het geeft de broek een stevig houvast en zorgt in combinatie met andere verstelmogelijkheden voor een veilige en comfortabele draagervaring.
Andere voordelen van het nieuwe type verbindingssysteem zijn de veel uitgebreidere mogelijkheden voor individuele maatvoering van jassen en broeken. Enerzijds kunnen jassen en broeken van verschillende maten dankzij iMC gemakkelijk aan elkaar worden gekoppeld. Anderzijds krijgt u veel meer speelruimte bij het aanpassen van de tailleband van de broek. Voor een perfecte pasvorm heeft het iXS-ontwikkelingsteam een flexibele tailleband ontworpen - de tailleband kan tot 12 centimeter variabel worden versteld. Daartoe zijn in de tailleband rechts en links 2 verstelzones ingebouwd. Het iMC-systeem - nog een nuttig stukje van de puzzel voor de compromisloze implementatie van de iXS "PERFECT FIT" claim.

iXS Magnetic Connection System (iMC)
Interface = weak point
Two-piece jackets, whether made of leather or textile, absolutely need a stable connection. This is important so that the jacket does not slide up in the event of a fall, which would mean that its protective effect would be lost. The coupling of jacket & pants also helps during the ride to a better fit - the jacket does not slide up, the pants do not slide down. This also prevents wind or even moisture from getting in and protects the body from unwanted cooling. All in all, a properly designed connection means a big gain in comfort.
The iXS engineers have dealt with the interface between jacket & pants in detail and found a solution that makes connecting the jacket to the pants even easier and faster: the pants can form a secure all-round connection with the jacket by using a strong zipper in the back to hold the jacket and pants together. At the front, the innovative iXS Magnetic Connection System (iMC) connects the jacket with the pants almost automatically by magnetic Fidlock quick-release fasteners. Quite simply, with just one finger, the closure can also be released again - really clever.
The absolutely secure Fidlock quick-release fasteners are combined with a sewn-in webbing system. The webbing system inside the jacket runs - similar to a suspenders - over the shoulder. Compared to a conventional connecting zipper, which is often only selectively attached to the inner lining of the jacket, the iMC system is much more tear-resistant and provides several times more security. An absolutely intentional side effect is that the webbing system also provides additional wearing comfort. It gives the pants a secure hold and, in combination with other adjustment options, results in a safe and comfortable wearing experience.
Other advantages of the new type of connection system are the much more comprehensive options for individual sizing of jackets and trousers. On the one hand, jackets and pants of different sizes can be easily joined together thanks to iMC. On the other hand, you get much more leeway when adjusting the waistband of the pants. To enable a perfect fit, the iXS development team has designed a flexible waistband - the waistband can be variably adjusted up to 12 centimeters. For this purpose, 2 adjustment areas are built into the waistband on the right and left. The iMC system - another helpful piece of the puzzle for the uncompromising implementation of the iXS "PERFECT FIT" claim.
